Dear Ruth: I enjoyed learning about your spiritual, connected life and the intimacy you enjoy with God. Jordan is fortunate to have you as mom, teacher, guide and coach. Peace, Greg
It's nice that you talk to 'God' on hikes! Yuck! what happens after massageing regular drinkers is it that their skin reeks of the substance and u somehow get drawn to fast food by that smell? Like alcohol = high fat for you? Not nice what you did to your cous…I love chocs too but wouldnt go so far! -What a yucky gift to receive! I think anything you do can be an act of 'Joy'n not just your occupation but of course yea that's the best! I often find myself writing or describing things to people in this manner I had the joy of ….(it is usual doing something or meeting somebody) so know what you mean bout the joy. And I guess if we all honestly strip down our lives to what is real it is small and simple or all that we need or really wish for is small and simple….like all you need is Love!
In term of talking to God while hiking …you make me think of the John Denver song- Rocky Moutain High…some of my fav lyrics! Wish I could be experiencing it! But not fit enough to climb Cathedral mountain myself!
"He was born in the summer of his 27th yr coming home to a place he'd never been before, left yesterday behind him you might say he was born again, might say he found a key for every door…he climbed Cathedral mountain and saw silver clouds below, saw everything as far as he can see and they say he got crazy once and tried to touch the sun and he lost a friend but kept his memories. Now he walks in quiet solitude the forest and the streams, seeking grace in every step he takes…You can talk to God and listen to the casual replies…more people more scars upon the land…know he'd be a poor man if never see an eagle fly…"

Wow! Just read your Bio …you're part Native American! So hope to hear more about that part of your background on here…I'm sure you can teach us lots about the land and nature worship and oneness of spirit with the whole of nature!
Babita,
Thanks for the comment(s). As far as your question goes about the massages…no…they don't usually smell of alcohol…I think it is more energetic than that….the low vibration of the alcohol and of the person drinking the alcohol is lower than that of someone who is more clean in diet …and I think the wanting to eat fast food is a reaction to that energy level. You would think that I would naturally want to eat what I usually eat (vegetables), but energy kind of pulls me down and it fills better (physically) to eat something that is of the same vibration. I don't usually do that…usually I can pull my self back up to the vibration I am usually at, but sometimes it happens…I don't worry about it though, because I think worry and guilt would just add to the already lower vibrations. If I do eat the junk, I just eat it with joy, go home and clear myself and know that tomorrow's a new day.
Thanks again for your comment and your natural happiness that shines through. Ruth
Dear Greg,
Thanks for your comment. Being new to this, it is alittle strange to be talking about myself to people that I do not know. I do appreciate your kind words about reading my 5 things. I do have to say though, that it is I than am lucky to have such a wise daughter who has for the last 19 years been teaching me much more than I have probably taught her….unconditional love, for starters, is an incredible gift to teach to someone. Thanks again and blessings to you as well. Ruth
