Aphrodite, communion in love

"That Beautiful Taurus Bull girl. Her signs planetary symbol is; the Mirror of Aphrodite".

Aphrodite, Goddess of love and beauty represents; magic and process of power of transformation that she, alone had in Greek Mythology.  Aphrodite was an awesome presence who caused mortals and deities (with the exception of the 3 virgin goddess, immaculate mind) to fall in love and conceive new life. For Pygmalion, she turned a statue into a living woman. She inspired poetry and persuasive speech, and symbolizes the transformative and creative power of love.

Aphrodite, representing desire as symbol, was never victimized and did not suffer. In all her relationships the feelings of desire were mutual; she was never a victim of anyone’s unwanted passion for her. She valued emotional experience with others more than either independence from others (which motivated the virgin goddesses), or permanent bonds to others (which characterized the vulnerable goddesses).
Aphrodite, relationships are important but not as long-term commitments to other people, once you manifested a desire, you move to another desire. Your limelight moves from one point of attention to another. Aphrodite seeks to consummate relationships and generate new life. This archetype may be expressed through physical intercourse or through a creative process. What she seeks she focus on what she is personally meaningful to her; others can not divert her from her goal. And in that what she values is solely subjective and cannot be measured in terms of achievement or recognition, Aphrodite is (paradoxically) most similar to anonymous, Hestia -who in the surface is the goddess most unlike Aphrodite. Appearances are deceitful.

Whomever or whatever Aphrodite imbues with beauty is irresistible. A magnetic attraction results, "chemistry" happens between the two, and they desire union above all else. They feel the powerful urge to get closer, to have intercourse, to consummate- or "know" the other, which was the biblical term. While this drive may be purely sexual, the impulse is often deeper, representing  an urge that is both psychological and spiritual. Intercourse is synonymous with communication or communion, consummation may speak of an urge toward completion or perfection, union is to join together as one, and to know and be known is what Aphrodite generates. If this desire leads to psychological, emotional, or spiritual spheres.

When Aphrodite influences a relationship, her effect is not limited to the romantic or sexual. Platonic love, soul connection, deep friendship, rapport, and empathic understanding all are expression of love. Whenever growth is generated a vision supported, potential developed, a spark of creativity encouraged – as can happen in mentoring, counselling, parenting, directing, teaching, editing, and doing psychotherapy and analysis – then Aphrodite is  there, affecting both people involved.

We have to remember her focused consciousness as a limelight.

Although many of her stories can be of pure desire and many ended as tragedies, they are all choices and examples that show us the way to perfection-ate and shape our thoughts seeded by Mars. We shall never forget that in a non clear intention their conception was Deimos (terror) and Phebos (Fear).

In perfect communion we can manifest  and bask in beautiful Harmonia (harmony).

    Dearest Mary,

Every goddess and god are so unique… that I feel, I need more posts to show their reflection. I am about to post another -my favorite-, but I will wait for tomorrow.

This way, we will have time to embrace the communion of an intent seeded in clear and pristine desire.

    Love

Adriana, even though I am married of 30 years I view all women the vessels of God and are charmed by all their beauty. It is only natural to be a tree in the forest with lovely flowers to add color to it…

I will support and toast to all women of the Universe that they may be ever more noticed for their charms and abilities.

    Jas, Jas, Jas…

Missed you!!!! I always knew there is and Aphrodite in you. When you posted on Ares, as the eternal lover, your experience was dazzling. This is insightful because Aphrodite is so easy to cultivate nowadays. Her moon features are so involved in sensual and sensory experience. Therefore, cultivating a keenness of perception and a here-and-now focus invites Aphrodite. Lovers are naturally attuned to each other's taste, fragrance, and beauty; music and tactile stimulation enhance their pleasure.

So my dear goddess enjoy your communion.

We are fine, the only thing odd is that we are secluded until the sixth. Nothing is opened and this huge city looks like a haunted horror movie. There is nobody on the street.

Love to see youuuuu and always thinking of you.

Dear Dominic, I rejoice in the fact that you see beyond words. Symbols are everywhere and in the goddess the eternal lover is unveiled.

Ever since the goddess emerged from the sea in all her glory, she is mostly recognizable by her attractiveness rather than her appearance alone. The Aphrodite archetype creates a personal charisma- a magnetism or electricity- that combined with physical secureness, makes a woman "an Aphrodite."

Thank you Adriana…When I communicate to God in the form of symbols and art and He responds back with those symbols…To me women are God's feminine side of Himself that He loves His beauty with and that is why women are so important to Him as they concieve child and nurture the home and give their art form as well.

God Bless You Child of God's Beauty as well

    Peace Soul Queen(+)

GOOD EVENING and THANK-YOU Dear Sister Adriana!!!

… indeed, Aphrodite has always symbolized for me the belief and Aspiration: That is To Love and Trust Unconditionally requires one to eliminate any and all attachments to everyone and everything, go with the flow and flow with the go!!!

… indeed, I am a caterpillar longing to morph into a butterfly, take flight, endlessly and effortlessly ebbing and flowing with the breeze and lifting me ever upwards and outwards!!!

… indeed, I have the Aspiration, the Intent and a Surf Board!!!

… indeed, small steps, patience and perseverance for me.

… indeed, THIS WAS INFORMING, INSIGHTFUL and INSPIRING FOR ME, THANK-YOU!!!

Aphrodite BLESSINGS, LOVE and PEACE, ALWAYS and EVERYWHERE, NOW and FOREVER!!!

    Gracias Sister Adriana ~

That hurt just reading about Cronos cutting off the genitals of Uranus though according to the mythology Aphrodite was born from it all. No pain, no gain. Aphrodite seems to be a love-sex goddess and a liberated woman in her own way.

The ideal of an exclusive permanent intimate relationship with one being seems to be a hopeless pursuit, though the fantasy can be great for a time. Naturally this is just my spin on it. Being a heterosexual male of 57-Earth years I admit that all of my one-on-one relationships with women have failed in the sense that I am a single Liberated Man here now. I can live with that fact and am no longer prone to easily falling in deep love with a woman no matter how great the transitory rapture. The climax of sex can last mere seconds, but the peak of pure love can last a lifetime. More will be revealed.

It is through taking a leap of faith and falling in love with another leading to intimacy that helps us to learn about life, about love and about humane relationships in general. Once again, thank you for broadening my cosmic consciousness!

    Education for Liberation!

    Dear Tim,

EUREKA! You are attuned to the symbol of the alchemy process. We are on the process of detachment and surrendering to love.

Self recognition that in the process show us that; we are in each other all along.

    Love

Dear Domenic, you are Aphrodite as I am. Now I understand that in order to have the manifestation I desire: Mars, generative force in me has to be for the right reason in communion with my Aphrodite. Then my manifestation shall be as I desired it.

    We already are,

    bask in it's glory

    Love

    Adriana

    Dear Peter, the eternal lover.

Losing yourself in another person is the best way to find your true self. Surrender is the result of relinquishing the ego's last claims to separation. Many mistakenly equate attachment with love when in fact attachment deprives us of love.

Attachment goes to every situation asking "What can I get from this?." Fear generates an impulse to achieve or acquire and fear is not love.

Attachment is always exclusive when love is inclusive. Attachment is bondage, and love is freedom.

Surrendering to another being is surrendering to spirit, if you surrender in intimacy, where all is known and all is accepted, there is no question of personality. You are giving yourself to the true core of existence, traditionally called the Self.

    As the UPANISHADS say:

"It is not for the sake of the beloved that I feel love, but for the sake of the Self"

"In this spirit, surrender to another is the most self-centered act you can perform; the secret is that your Self and your lover's are the same."

    Love

    Adriana

Aphrodite is also known as Kypris (Lady of Cyprus) and Cytherea after the two places, Cyprus and Kythira, which claim her birth. Her Roman equivalent is the goddess Venus. Myrtle, dove, sparrow, and swan are sacred to her. The Greeks identified Aphrodite with the Ancient Egyptian goddess Hathor.
