After the launch of my newest book, Miracles Now, I received some awesome emails from my readers. Many of them reported that they were intuitively guided to share the Miracles Now meditations with their kids! This news thrilled me. My hope and my intention is that those of us on a mindful path can organically plant spiritual seeds in our children. In this week’s vlog I share fabulous tips on how to teach meditation to kids. When you plant a spiritual seed in a child you can know that you have given them the greatest gift they could ever receive.
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays, although I find it very difficult not to overeat! This holiday season, I’m arming myself with some practical and spiritual tools for enjoying my meal without going overboard. If you’re someone who tends to overeat on Thanksgiving then this vlog’s for you!
First off, before the meal begins visualize how you want the meal to go. Try to see yourself picking the healthier options, chewing mindfully and remembering to put down your fork. Use that as a meditation before you go down to dinner. Be present and mindful during your dinner – have more conversations! This is a family affair so use the time to talk to your loved ones about what you’re thankful for and what is going on in their lives. If you become involved in the meal you have less time to over eat.

Do you ever have a fear of missing out? I’ll admit that from time to time I get a bad case of FOMO. In this video I share my spiritual tips for working through the fear of missing out. First you need to accept that if the timing isn’t right at the current moment that the opportunity or a greater one will come around again. Next you have to settle into the idea that if you’re meant to be somewhere, even if you say no, that you will inevitably get there. The last step is to stop obsessing about it. Once you have turned something down you have to let it go to truly be at peace with the decision. I’ll also help you accept that when something doesn’t work out as planned it’s because something far greater is coming.
Why are you here? What is the message you are trying to put out into the world? I’ve talked a lot about spreading your personal message in the past but now I want to go more in-depth. Is it impossible to relish yourself in high heels and enjoy being fashionable but still be taken seriously? That’s a battle I wage constantly, but I maintain that being true to yourself and how you want to present yourself does not deter from your spiritual journey.
In this video I talk about how we can be spiritual without giving up things like fabulous shoes or other material goods. I believe that if you’re on a spiritual path you’re always heading toward your authentic truth. When we accept that truth we’re called to express it through what we wear and how we present ourselves.
