Be Lighthearted!

Focus: Be Lighthearted!

Today, try not to take life so seriously! When you are faced with small and minor challenges, don’t let them get you down. Take a "laugh it off" attitude. Oftentimes when we are consumed by our ego-mind, we will let tiny things like spilling a coffee, or missing a green light completely ruin our day and send us spiralling into negative thought patterns which in turn bring us more negativity. Bring a level of acceptance to the moment, and recognize that in the grand scope of things, it doesn’t even matter! When you start to see the minor things that you stress about, you begin to see the humor in it–"I can’t believe I used to let something that small ruin my day!" And in truth, you really never have real reason to let your day be "ruined." Take responsibility for your thoughts and emotions and govern them, instead of allowing them to govern you. There is no situation or circumstance which is worth forfeiting your peace and happiness!

I enjoy discovering light. Sharing it with others just adds to the bliss! I have a blog dedicated to daily inspiration @ www.LikeFreshAir.blogspot.com ...my small attempt to make a difference. I love to discuss with others about their beliefs and learn from them. One of my favorite quotes: "The joy of Being, which is the only true happiness, cannot come to you through any form, possession, achievement, person, or event--through anything that happens. That joy cannot come to you--ever. It emanates from the formless dimension within you, from consciousness itself and thus is one with who you are" ~ Eckhart Tolle. I wish you with all the love, joy and abundance possible!

Kudos Benjamin! Sometimes the best thing you can do is take a deep breathe and laugh. Even if you are faking it, it often just takes over, and if it doesn't, at least you've gotten some extra oxygen so you can think clearer! Humor is good. I love the way little kids find humor in so much, and reconnecting with the kid within can create lightness in your being. Try thinking their way…it doesn't matter. best to you, Jas
