Hello there Intent community,
As another week comes to a wrap, I bring you the best from Intent.com.
This week Mallika asked all of you what your definition of wellness was. That is one hot topic here at Intent and it is an ever changing definition as we strive to be your online wellness destination. What does it mean to you: being healthy? being connected spiritually? being good to mother earth? And we had some lovely responses that I just wanted to highlight:
- Can you separate wellness from happiness? by Balanchine
- Defining wellness through the eyes of friends by Nina K
- What Is Wellness? You Know You Are Well When You’re Practicing These 10 Wellness Behaviors… by John Amaral
- My Definition of Wellness... by Linda La Rue
- Wellness Means Turn On Your Inner Light by Debbie Mandel
And if you are wondering how much wellness you need in your life — definitely take this fantastic quiz. which put a huge smile on my face:
- "How Much Wellness Do You Need Right Now?" by Yumi Sakugawa
We also asked our friends on Facebook (i hope you are one of them!) what wellness means to them and this is what they had to say:
- Cynthia Legette Davis: To me "wellness" means being at peace with God, myself and others.
- Celeste Eatherton: Balance…anything less is illness.
- Carole Fogarty: Feeling peaceful and calm on the inside
- Swati Kamble: Being with loved ones…living in the moment
- Stephanie Meyer McClelen: Living consciously without "dis-ease".
- Jane M. Hart: Opening to, breathing in, what is here, now, just as it is, with appreciation and gratitude.
- Carla Cappiello Golden: Feeling no body sensations (peace + homeostasis…not numbness) to the point that I forget I’m in a body.
- Phillip Zeuner: Being able to say ‘yes’ to all the things and people you want to say yes to.
- Randy Whiteside: In alignment spiritually & physically
I apologize in advance if I missed any of your posts and if you want to share with us your definition, please post the link in the comments.
Have a lovely weekend as always
xoxo, Eden
