Blogtag- 5 Things You Don’t Know About Me +1

I have a unnatural love of spicy food. Good food, even already spicy food, can only be made great with the addition of large amounts of roasted green chile or hot mango pickle.

About george.brown

I'm an Intent team member living in Santa Fe with my wife , son and two Great Pyrenees doggies. As a meditation teacher for 30 plus years, I have an all-consuming passion for how the transformation of consciousness will remake our world, our politics, our bodies, and our relationships. I am especially a student of the ancient technologies of consciousness such as mantras, yantras, rituals, cognitive shifts, and the heart centered methods of gratitude, forgiveness and compassion. I believe as we metamorphosize from our caterpillar selves to our butterfly selves, we powerfully contribute to the transformation of the world around us.

This is great, George. Can't believe you had an uncle born 2 centuries ago! And I did not know that you were a monk for 10 years. Wow. Where was the ashram?

The ashram was Maharishi's group for men called "Purusha"

I spent time at the different locations in India, Europe, Canada and the US. Seems like another lifetime ago now.

It has taken my taste buds a lot of conditioning to get used to spicy foods, but I am now on board. :) Great getting to know you better, George. I love that you used to be a monk. That's awesome to have on the resume. ;)

    George,

I so laughed out loud reading about your polling "disorder." So funny! What a juxtaposition to the image of have of you at the ashram!

    Love the spicy too!

Read your bio, and was fascinated by your meditation teaching/practice! I work with a meditation teacher out of Santa Fe, who lived as a monk in India and worked with Sri Muktananda before he died in 1982! Meditation is rather new to me, only a year in practice, but it has radically changed my life in a short period of time. I share your intent and hope for a change in world consciousness! And ironically, I also 'get' your obsession with the polling (being a bit obsessive myself)!
