A Caring Heart LLC founder and operator is more than just a blessing to most communities he is bringing his needed services across the globe.
“Realizing how many people today go on living in situations they just cannot seem to dig their way out is why I decided to create a global volunteer network to help those less fortunate and in need. “ Founder Stevie J Stevenson said.
I started the business concept with hopes of launching a non medical home companion business. After working in health care for several years and being offered pay to visit patients at home to help with simple everyday household chores I just knew a market was growing and needed to be filled.
Everyday someone starts one of these businesses and most are in it for money and let me say if you are in that business for the money it will mentally break you down.
Since being a contributor on Tonic.com and having one of my articles published here on Intent.com I knew a larger need was waiting for me.
Changing the entire business concept from a profitable home companion venture to a not for profit organization that not only visits the elderly and offers my services but my organization will pay for the supplies and do the work for free. Yes free! If I visit a home that needs to be cleaned and painted entirely I get down and scrub the floor, paint the walls and I even pay for the paint out of my own pocket.
How this works?
I branched out and created two separate A Caring Heart LLC divisions.
The first is medical collection services were we solicit non monetary donations from local hospitals that discard stainless steal bandage and suture scissors. They actually throw these instruments away and they never come in contact with any blood or body fluids. These same instruments are then sent to a recycling center.
Our second fundraising comes from a Veterinary ECG service I started.
We contract with animal hospitals that pay a monthly retainer fee and are allowed to call in a request for an ECG 24-7. The retainer fee is so reasonable and we are available as many times a month they need us it’s economically better for them to call us vs. paying a technician or a Dr to do it.
We are recruiting volunteers and open to any fundraising ideas you may have.
