Causecast and United We Serve: Get Involved!

Hey all! Just wanted to give our followers on Intent a quick update about how Causecast has been spending the last few weeks. We’re thrilled to be partnered with The White House, Google and All For Good on this initiative, which seeks to make public service a way of life for Americans.

At Causecast, we’re always going a mile a minute, working long and dedicated hours, so we realize how tough it can be to find any time to devote to service. As Michelle Obama said in her United We Serve introduction, however, it is the responsibility of all Americans to contribute to economic recovery and community renewal. That’s why Causecast is proud to help support this initiative with our own United We Serve homepage.

Through Causecast, you can access All for Good’s database of volunteer events and even get started on your own do-it-yourself service projects. We want to make it as easy as possible for you (yes, YOU) to volunteer your time and effort this summer.

As well, we want to practice what we preach. Causecast plans to keep our followers up-to-date on our own service projects in the Los Angeles community.

United We Serve is truly an unprecedented initiative in modern America. We’re all being asked to give just a little bit of ourselves to make the communities we live in stronger than ever. As Mrs. Obama said, "You won’t regret it."

I love the idea of showcasing all the service that needs to be done in your area, especially when broken down by the different ways that may interest you. It'll also be interesting to see the progress and see what happens as this program rolls out over the summer.

We can't find anyone in Illinois to help our family. Rebuilding Together

Kankakee isn't calling us back, or responding to e-mails. Washington, DC told me it's usually in April each year. Wow nice to know help is once a year. What do you do til then?

No response from KKK Rebuilding Together. No return Calls! No e-mails!

Kankakee, Illnois is once per year in April, and Peoria is just for their area. It's impossible to find volunteers to work on our roof here in Watseka, Illinois. Severe Leaks.
