My intent is to live in a world where compassion
and caring are the universal language in which caregivers, children and cultures are empowered. Through creativity, commitment and collaboration, I intend to live in a world where the patient is cared for with the same passion we treat the disease, where children are taught not just reading, writing and arithmetic but are also taught the tools to face obstacles and opportunities with love, compassion and strength, and where cultures maintain their natural essence and identity in the face of globalization.
Compassion and Caring
About donna.karan
"To think that I had an idea and didn't do everything I could to make a difference, I couldn't get up every morning. It's just who I am."In 2006, Donna Karan and Sonja Nuttal launched the Urban Zen Foundation an endeavor seeking to advance well-being, preserve cultures and empower children.
Moving through the tragic loss of her husband Stephan Weiss, seven years ago to cancer, Ms. Karan realized there was something missing when it came to the treatment of her husband's cancer, she noted a paucity of Eastern based treatments. After her husband's passing, Ms. Karan was determined to help create awareness and inspire change in well-being to include integrative medicine, one that balanced both the science of the West with the ancient healing powers of the East. The Urban Zen Foundation was born. Subsequent to the well-being initiative, preserving cultures and empowering children followed, forming three pillars of the Urban Zen Foundation.

A Most worthy intent. I join you in that intent.
Peace,

See how compassionate Donna Karan is. The above link will take you to her fashion victims. Rabbits stripped of their fur, just for you to wear.
What a fraud, a direct quote from her 'intent'. My intent is to live in a world where compassion and caring are the universal language in which caregivers, children and cultures are empowered.
But, she contributes and perpetuates murdering of animals for fashion. She disgusts me. Boycott Donna Karan.

See what Donna Karan perpetuates with the ugly fur industry. China has no welfare laws so anything goes, and that means stripping animals of their skin, while alive.
