Dear Intent Community: Join Us In Our 30 Days of Intents

Dear Intent Community,

For the second time this year, I invite all of you to dedicate the next 30 days to posting one new intent a day. If it is true that it takes 30 days for a habit to take hold in our minds, imagine what amazing things we can achieve for ourselves and as a community if we got a huge number of people committed to imagining and intending great things for ourselves, our communities and the planet at large for an entire month.

Our first-ever 30 days of intentions took place in the beginning of the year to celebrate a brand new year and exciting new beginnings. Now that we are already six months into 2010, I believe all of us can use this mid-point of the year to remind ourselves what we were hoping to achieve at the beginning of the year and so that we can re-commit, reignite and refocus to the path that will lead us to our dreams.

Please comment below to share your commitment for the next 30 days to post one new intent a day. I truly believe that for the next 30 days, our collective positive intentions can create a significant ripple effect of positive energy in this world.

Namaste,

Mallika

P.S. Fee free to share your commitment to the 30 Days of Intentions with our very own 30 Days of Intention badge!

I am looking forward to the collective transformations – physically and spiritually – that committing to a daily intent post can bring. For me this kind of structure could very well be an important link as I suspect it will be for many others. I have written a blog post of what I believe the power of posting a daily intent can do for positive self-talk and greater freedom of expression. At the end of the thirty days I will evaluate my journey and share with the community!

With a widespread sharing of this powerful intention to post every day for 30 days, it is my hope that we will create a global upswell in peace and compassion. I whole-heartedly join the effort. Thank you, Mallika!

Can't wait to be part of this!

  4. Alexia Parks June 1, 2010 at 10:55 am #

Thanks Mallika. While my first Intent today was focused on myself, I realize that my mind is also sending compassion to those who are suffering around the world. Two locations immediately come to mind: Haiti, as earthquake survivors and NGOs prepare for the hurricane season and rising flood waters; and all life along the oil streaked shorelines of Gulf of Mexico. May we learn to do without, so that others may simply LIVE.

Dearest Mallika, I am happy to be apart of this on a personal note, and in a more 'global' way, I am going to be teaching a workshop at The Omega Institute of Holistic Studies starting June 6 (Our Lady of Weight Loss enLIGHTens), so I will be sharing this with participants … starting each session with an Intent. So MIL GRACIAS to your intention to reach out in a meaningful way.

My focus for these 30 days will be 'illumination,' 'happiness,' 'lightness.' Any and all ways to find illumination. And in the midst of a thunder storm, as I right this, the sun has decided to shine through the window. I will take this as a Sign of Illumination! Namaste! Janice

  22. Shinobi Warrior June 1, 2010 at 3:23 pm #

Okay, so I didn't get it at first, that this was to be a journey into transformation by indicating a new intent daily for 30 days in a row, so after a lapse since my first intent to sign up here, I've just added my 2nd intent today. I'll be back now for the next 29 days of June to continue my journey to a more evolved self..

  23. Haridan June 1, 2010 at 3:47 pm #
