Disappointing Disappointments

Disappointments are those things that draw negativity, spreading around like a dark cloud that entraps you and makes you stagnant in a negative energy tantrum.

Let’s explore what makes up for disappointments:

You may EXPECT a certain thing to work a certain way

You may EXPECT a certain person to act a certain way or take certain decisions

You may WISH that things work according to how you please

You may PROJECT that, a certain someone feels a certain way about you

You may ASSUME feelings of someone else

You may THINK that you have total control of situations

You may FEEL that you are not strong enough

You may be MADE TO FEEL that (especially when things go wrong) that you do not deserve the best

Or that thing went wrong BECAUSE OF YOU!

All these are a creation of the mind; a misinterpretation. It is not necessary to assume responsibility for things that are beyond your control, no matter how convincing the people around you sound.

Assumptions, projects, thoughts, feelings, expectations done on behalf of others will at one time or the other bring forth disappointments.

Therefore, conscious DETACHMENT from all these traps will make you free and leave you with no disappointments to deal with :)
