~ It’s okay for me to make "mistakes."
I learn valuable lessons from every one of my choices. ~
This is a good affirmation that goes well with the previous post. Having self-forgiveness is just as important as the forgiving of others. So much of the time we become paralyzed by the idea of making a mistake–it can lead us to the actual avoidance of what we really want, or complete inaction altogether. But life is action, life is always flowing and moving. When we resist motion, we are actually resisting life itself.
This affirmation is not to imply that you shouldn’t trust your inner guidance system–rather it is to help you become better aligned with it. A Course in Miracles teaches that it is when our fears are cleared that we have the best communion with the Holy Spirit (the messenger of God’s thoughts to ours). James Joyce, an irish novelist wrote, "A man’s errors are his portals of discovery." When we fear making mistakes, we also inevitably fear discovery and growth. Remember, there is nothing to fear. It’s okay for me to make mistakes really means, it’s okay for me to learn, discover, grow, and live!

About likefreshair
I enjoy discovering light. Sharing it with others just adds to the bliss! I have a blog dedicated to daily inspiration @ www.LikeFreshAir.blogspot.com ...my small attempt to make a difference. I love to discuss with others about their beliefs and learn from them. One of my favorite quotes: "The joy of Being, which is the only true happiness, cannot come to you through any form, possession, achievement, person, or event--through anything that happens. That joy cannot come to you--ever. It emanates from the formless dimension within you, from consciousness itself and thus is one with who you are" ~ Eckhart Tolle. I wish you with all the love, joy and abundance possible!
