Everyday Beauty

We’ve had a lot of rain in Edinburgh the last month or so.

Fine drizzle that mists the air so buildings loom out like images from the past. Tropical rain which bounces joyously off the pavement, flooding down the High Street in a torrent. Cold rain which nags and soaks and makes you long to be indoors by an unseasonal fire.

Silver rain promising rainbows and a sweet freshness afterward. Titanic rain with jagged bolts of light and clamorous crashings of sound. Swift rain in the early morning, over while the world sleeps leaving jewels scattered on every blade and leaf.

And while we scurry about under our umbrellas, dodging puddles or cursing the smearing wetness on our car windscreens, we long for sunshine and ignore the beauty pouring down on us!

About 7th Space

I own and run 7th Space in Edinburgh, Scotland with my daughter, Emma Turner.

We are both Theta Healing practitioners and in addition Emma is a Soul Guidance Healer.  We hold one-to-one sessions with clients - in person or through Skype and also we've developed Workshops, such as Find Your Soul Mate and  energetic Space Clearing.

For much more info about Theta Healing and 7th Space please go to www.7thspace.co.uk

When I'm not meeting clients I love long walks on the beach, playing with my granddaughters and having traditional afternoon tea.

I don’t believe that we grow through hardship and testing, that we are more ‘grown -up’ because we don’t laugh much anymore and because we have put away the childish dreams which filled us with creative fire and deep content when we were young.

I absolutely reject the belief that illness and disease and pain are lessons which punish us because we are not good enough, or which we manifest into our lives because we aren’t spiritual enough, or even that they are the natural result of growing old and being human.

I don’t believe that the world is only full of greed and hatred and disempowerment. I don’t believe that big business, politics and war are the ultimate power and that they rule our lives.

I believe in an intelligent Universe which is naturally benign and creative. I believe in our human spirit which can soar like a hawk, seeing infinite possibilities - inventing, nurturing, expanding.

I believe in the vibrant health of our bodies and emotions - in the possibility of greeting each day from a place of gladness and wonder.

I believe in sparkles on the water, fresh coffee brewing, bluebells in a wood, cool mountain air, and Love. Especially Love. I believe the more Love we spend, the richer we grow.

Dear Susan, so true of everyday life – how many impressive oak trees, awe inspiring birds of prey, and a plethora of other natural beauties do we miss as we drive in traffic every day?

When you stop and notice, it changes your perception, and therefore your reality – well done and thanks for the reminder!

    Love

    Toni
