Yes, nothing short of perfection in everyone concerned, from the entire crew to even the passengers.
A minor miracle
Razz
Are there major and minor miracles?
In my opinion, yes.

A miracle or not a miracle, that's the question
I suppose it depends on one's point of view and their own criteria for defining a miracle.
In the case of US Air everything that could go wrong did go wrong, could have been a total tragedy, no survivors… and then… everything that had to go right did. the timing of everything was perfect.
One expert even attributed the temp. og the water helped hold the plane above water for as long as it did. Time enough for everyone to be rescued. Also one of the engines dislodging from the wing and not weighing the plane down…by that much at least.
Crash landing as soon as it did to be in the area of the Hudson that it was. Many ships and boats already there to help….and at least a dozen other factors that all came together to make for a total success. Amazing.
