Getting Back to Work After the Holidays

I’ve been fortunate enough to take some time off for the holidays, just returning to work today. I woke up this morning thinking "How can I possibly get back on schedule after being off for 2 weeks?" The amount of work to be addressed seemed overwhelming and contributed to a poor night’s rest.

I flipped on my computer and realized that if I simply handled one thing at a time, looked forward to re-focusing on my new love: the raw food lifestyle, and all of the things that 2009 will bring, a sense of calm came over me.

I feel fortunate to have the friends and family that I do, and this year’s holiday season brought that thankfulness to the forefront. I found that fewer gifts brought us closer, as quality time was the main gift we each enjoyed.

Healthy living is my passion, and I’m absolutely looking forward to coming up with new ways to share holistic health options online, help a couple of friends who want to make a change in their lives, and educate more people in the U.S. on living healthier, happier lives in the New Year!

Thanks Kelly–I've been away from work for awhile as well, and I find your post helpful, as I get ready to return. Focusing on one thing at a time is something that I can look forward to today. I'm striving for some improvements to my diet in 2009 as well; I'll checkout your website. Thanks again for the post.
