Embrace the Life Force

I’m sure you have been eating salads and greens and maybe even some fruit shakes over the past two weeks. But this week I’d like you to increase the amount of raw greens , veggies, and fruit you eat until a full 50 percent of your diet is derived from enzyme-dense, Life Force Gold Foods. It’s much easier than you think. By ensuring that at every meal, at least half of your plate is made up of these outrageously delicious foods, you’ll be making a serious commitment to your health. It is only a week—and you can do it. Of course, I invite you to keep eating the life force way for all of your days, but please, make a commitment now to plan out this last week and really experience the difference that enzymes can make in every aspect of your health.
Simply put, Life Force Gold Foods are those that are packed with life force enzymes. As you now know, all foods contain enzymes in their natural state, but heating over 118 degrees Fahrenheit, canning, and processing destroys the enzymes they contain. Life Force Gold Foods are those that are natural, health-building foods that contain plentiful amounts of nutrients and enzymes and are eaten and/or prepared in a way in which the enzymes remain intact.
Does that mean you need to swear off all cooked foods in favor of an exclusively raw foods diet? No, of course not! There’s nothing radical about The Life Force Diet other than its miraculous ability to restore great health, energy, and immunity.
There’s no need to worry about which Life Force Gold Foods are best. As I commonly tell people, “The best Life Force Foods are the ones you actually eat.” Start eating those on the list that you know and love, and give your less-than-favorite ones another try. Sometimes it’s as simple as a new way of preparing foods or combining them with different flavors to love foods you couldn’t stand before.
Following is a sampling of Life Force Gold Foods. Remember, they only remain Gold if you eat them uncooked. You can blend, puree, grate, or chop them, just don’t cook them.

Thank you for this post, Michelle! I love oranges and blueberries, and oranges even have 6% of the recommended DV of calcium — a good, non-dairy source! I do have a question — I'm a big fan of peanuts, but I never see them on health food lists. What is your opinion of their health benefits?
Excellent question, Emma! Raw, unsalted peanuts that have been kept in the refrigerator section of your natural food store are a healthy option, as is freshly-made peanut butter from these high quality peanuts. Most other types of peanuts are not a good option because peanuts are extremely vulnerable to a toxic form of mold called aflatoxins, particularly if they've been stored for long periods of time (common for most peanuts that have been stored in warehouses for relatively long periods of time before they find their way into peanut butter or grocery stores). Aflatoxins are highly damaging to people and should be avoided.
If you enjoy peanut butter, try to find a health food store that grinds it fresh. Alternatively, try almond butter. It's sooo good. Most people prefer it. And, it too, is high in usable calcium and protein.
