How to Serve Others – Best of the Week

Heal The World
Make It A Better Place
For You And For Me
And The Entire Human Race

This week on Intent was all about volunteering and being of service to others and what role it takes in our personal wellness. President Obama is calling on all Americans this summer to particiapte in our nation’s recovery and renewal by serving in our communities. So in the spirit of Independence Day and being of service to others, we turned to our Intent voices for ideas on what can we do to get involved? What are the benefits of volunteering? See below for all their wisdom, which is ofcourse for people all over the world and not just the United States. Together we can all heal the world.

We also wanted to remind everybodyIntent Team is trying to get as many support clicks as possible on our intent to clean up our beaches. Right now, we have 46 clicks of support. We have until July 15 to get as many clicks as possible. (One support = one minute of Intent Team volunteerig).  If we can get a total of at least 90 clicks by mid-July, that would be amazing. Please click on our intent and support us so we can get as many minutes as possible for our beach clean-up day. Our beach clean-up day is on Saturday, July 18 at Dockwelier Beach in Southern California between 10AM and noon. We highly encourage all of you Southern California Intenters to join us!

    dearest trisha,

We are drawn to the seem blogs, and intents. In reading this one, I'm amazed by all there is out there. It appears, it's my choice of town that I've selected to live in. I found not one source of Volunteers available in our area.

As I read all these links I find absolutely none for my family to turn to.

I would love to find volunteers to help mend our family's roof.

So many worthy Causes, and Organzations! Why then do I continue to

find no Solutions? Our days are long, and hope is fading. I pray for my

comments to be read by a caring person, "who can lead us out of such

dire conditions". I've been finally overcome by illness. My body is weak,

and will take it easy today. My throat has a burning feeling, and my stomach is upset.

I won't give up, and will keep reaching out for help! In America there's so many who claim to help, yet No where is there to turn to in rural America. As of this day NO One has yet to come forward to help my family in Illinois.

Rekha has left me a message, she will send us $50.00 to help us with our repairs on our leaking roof. We had FEMA decline us for assistance.

Our damage was caused in January 2008 from the flood effects. Roof has tar paper that was blown off, and a Joice broken such heavy rains for days with strong winds. But since no water came in from the bottom up. Meaning it would have to be from the basement or through the front door. No damage can come from the roof down.

Doesn't make any sense other than to eliminate family's in need of finding help from our Government or Charitable Organizations. It's shameful in our Country for not one place willing to help someone in need.

Rehka is the first to say I will help!

I do appreciate all the prayers from my concerned friends. I understand many are in conditions that won't allow them to help my family, and I understand that. Where are all the Volunteers, and others?

In reading this blog it appears there are places that do help those in need. Just not in our community in Illinois.

    Thank you my friend,

    Kevin Keath
