I Always Have A Choice!

"I can elect to change all thoughts that hurt" ~ ACIM.

This is yet another superb Course in Miracles exercise. All of our emotions are directly connected to our thoughts – conscious or subconscious. Every time we are feeling an emotion that we do not like, we should consider the thoughts we are choosing to think. There are definitely some thoughts that hurt – that may seem to come unwanted and from outside sources. But we must always remember still, that they are a choice. If certain thoughts are hard to relinquish, seek Divine Guidance and listen. Always remember to never enter a state of resistance. Do not fight your thoughts. How insane it is, when the mind attacks itself. Choose to be the silent observer and awareness. If we realize we are thinking thoughts that do not serve us, we should either change them, or simply allow them to play out and pass. For we know that they are only thoughts. Peace and joy are your natural state to claim, and they are always only a thought away.

About likefreshair

I enjoy discovering light. Sharing it with others just adds to the bliss! I have a blog dedicated to daily inspiration @ www.LikeFreshAir.blogspot.com ...my small attempt to make a difference. I love to discuss with others about their beliefs and learn from them. One of my favorite quotes: "The joy of Being, which is the only true happiness, cannot come to you through any form, possession, achievement, person, or event--through anything that happens. That joy cannot come to you--ever. It emanates from the formless dimension within you, from consciousness itself and thus is one with who you are" ~ Eckhart Tolle. I wish you with all the love, joy and abundance possible!

    Hey, Benjamin!

Very insightful post – it's one of those things that are so easy to say and to understand, yet are much more challenging to actually do. Do you have any strategies?

Also, I visited you blog – I liked the post with Loise Hay affirmations.

You look pretty young – what prompted you to explore this wonderful field?

    Cheers, mate!
