It can be so easy for us to waste our time, and for some of us it is all too easy to waste our precious lives. These words sound harsh, but if we look around us we can see that a greater percentage of us do not experience inner peace.
Many of us get stuck in our own day-to-day problems, and instead of being grateful to be alive, we spend hours obsessing over problems in our lives that are not worth our time, and certainly do not require the time we give them. We bring stress upon ourselves that is not necessary, as we do not know how to keep it simple. We do not know how to look at a problem as something to be solved, rather than a drama to be lived.
Some of us LOVE drama and get so caught up in our own emotions and the emotions of everyone else, that we become helpless in the face of life’s challenges.
How can we change and avoid this stressful merry-go-round?
We can realize that when challenges arise we need to step back and play the role of the witness. We need to look our problems right in the eye and make reasonable choices as we go about solving our problems.
We need to avoid obsessing about problems and spending hours on the phone with who ever will listen to us. An hour spent in quiet meditation would be much more helpful than three hours of complaining on the phone.
It is only through stepping back that we can find inner peace. It is only through realizing that each one of us has problems and our own problems are not as important as we make them. As we let go of drama, we can find peace.
As we focus on the light of the Divine, we can find inner peace.

True!! Thanks 4 sharing!!
Off topic: I was drawn to your photograph. I mean, DRAWN..so HELLO!
I agree, it is what we make it. I do so try to remove myself from center, but a life-long habit has been hard to break, long term. True, it gets easier to identify when I find myself in the midst of a salacious pity-party, but at times I do have to wait for the light bulb moment. It does not come as natural as some people seem to make it look.
And I do mean salacious (although I probably did not spell it right;) because the depth of these emotions are rather alarming. When I embark upon such a negative journey I can decimate a person or myself, usually. I strive to not be like that. I wish that those emotions and/or habits were not there, but alas, to be honest, they are.
Yes, an hour of positive far out weighs three hours of negative. It is learning to like and feel comfortable with the ease of positive energy. There is an absolute comfort zone that feels protective and proactive in the old, out dated manner of being.
I needed to read this. Thank you.

I really dig your vibe. Now I do authentically have the gift of second sight and what my soul sees in your soul is like a really laid back surfer dude, the Grand Bodie.
You may allow your soul to surf waves, come crashing down mountains in a hail of snow, ice and laughter, or just be relaxing, nude in a snowstorm, catching the totality of each snowflake, but you are immersed. I appreciate that in you. You make me think,
sweet thoughts to you.. Tamara
