When Nike hired editor and director Max Joseph and Casey Neistat to make a commercial for one of their athletic-performance tracking devices, the company certainly had no idea what they were in for.
Instead of producing a traditional short film showing how everyday people “Make it Count” (the slogan of the campaign) as agreed upon, the duo took the money and ran… all the way around the globe!
They spent ten days visiting thirteen different countries on three different continents, until they’d spent every penny of the money Nike had given them. And the film that came out of it, a video travel diary of sorts, has definitely lived up to the slogan. With nearly 4 million views on YouTube so far, Max and Casey certainly made it count:
