Intention is everything in Personal Development

Personal development is all about intent. What we intend becomes the map, the compass and the journey of meaning in our lives. We are taught to believe that the only truly meaningful events happen in the public eye. We think we must perform or engage with the world in larger-than-life ways to be effective. In truth, silent awareness and self confidence are the cornerstones for world peace. The dynamic quality of peace is based in knowing ourselves, keeping perspective on our connectedness with all of humanity, and giving without expectations. Being able to harmonize with those who are not comfortable, healthy, strong or self-aware requires powerful courage and a merciful heart. Being firm in what we know comes from the dissolving of egoic thinking, from the notion that we must DO something in order to BE. I’m honored to work in a private way, to mentor people around the world by telephone or SKYPE or through correspondence. Being together in spirit is daily proof that peace is dynamic, both seen and unseen. Our intent to create peace by living quietly, holding ourselves open to help someone we may never meet is the great blessing of the internet age, and the ageless wisdom of love. Supporting each other in invisible ways can be the most powerful thing we ever do together.
