We all have access to more or less the same information in the world. Intuition allows you to get information that everyone else doesn’t have. It gives you the edge of foresight and innovation. Most of the information we get has some point of view attached to it. Intuitive information is entirely objective so it is more likely to be accurate. Anyone who is successful is already using his or her intuition. How else would they know what the market will want when their product or service is ready? It is the only accurate way to know what a market will do in the future. Intuition allows you to prepare for scenarios that don’t yet exist.

Thank you, Laura,
I have experienced what you discuss here. Your post is also a good reminder that we need to honor the inner voice that might be counter-intuitive to others. I have been in many situations where I listened to what others say and act on it and end up saying to myself later, "I wish I had trusted my gut (or listened to my heart)."
