Are you just getting out of a difficult relationship and finding it just as difficult to get yourself in a regular exercise routine? Are your thoughts of how the relationship unraveled taking over your desire to be active? Try rebounding. Jumping on a mimi-trampoline for as little as 10 minutes a day not only strengthens your entire body but improves your outlook on life.
As kids, we jumped on beds, in bouncy houses or just about anywhere that gave us that feeling of floating in space. We jumped because it was FUN. Well we all can’t be astronauts but investing anywhere from $15 (I recommend Craigslist) to $80 (retail) is more realistic and doable in our quest for weightessness.
Down to the cellular level, the weightlessness we feel as we bounce awakens those cells that remain inactive from other exercises, giving us an instant euphoric feeling. This is why, as kids, we enjoyed the thrill of jumping so much. Once these cells awaken, you awaken, and you begin to see life with clarity. You begin to understand why that relationship didn’t work out and; therefore, acceptance sets in. It’s as simple as that.
Now if that isn’t enough, there are endless other benefits of "Jumping for Joy" as I call it. They include and are not limited to:
- Increasing the capacity for breathing.
- Circulating more oxygyn to the tissues.
- Combating depression.
- Normalizing your blood pressure.
- Helping prevent cardiovascular disease.
- Aiding lymphatic circulation (acrobats are virtually cancer free!), as well as blood flow in the veins of the circuatory system.
- Lowering elevated cholesterol and triglyceride levels.
- Stimulating metabolism, thereby reducing the likelihood of obesity.
- Toning the glandular system, especially the thyroid to increase its output.
- Improving coordination of the body.
- Improving increased muscle fiber tone.
- Relieving body pain such as neck back pain and headaches due to lack of exercise.
- Enhancing digestive process.
- Easier relaxation and sleep.
- Better mental performance, sharper learning processes.
- Relieving menstral discomfort and fatigue in women.
- Minimizing number of colds, allergeries and abdominal problems.
- Slowing the aging process.
"Jumping for Joy" can be enjoyed by people of any age. And it’s convenient! Although I recommend bouncing outdoors (nature enhances our senses, doubling the fun), you can bounce right in front of your TV or in your office (mini-trampolines are normally 3′ in diameter and 9" high) while listening to your ipod.
And women, remember, there’s no need to wear a bra when bouncing. Restrictive clothing prevents the flow of blood and lypmph. Wearing a bra to prevent sagging breasts actually weakens the muscles and connective tissue which helps to create sagging breasts. The free movement of the breast during exercise helps pump the lymph through the breast tissue.
Now get your joy on and start jumpin!!

Very good bit of info. I guess you could say that jumping helps you to e ready to jump into, and survive jumping out of a relationship.
Never knew the tidbit about the sports bra either. Fortunately, I don't have "man boobs" so no worries there, but I am sure the female readers will find the info beneficial. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to future articles. Blessings on your day. Mark
