Law of Attraction and Physical Healing

Question:

Many self help books suggest not to pay attention to unwanted things as the law of attraction states, the universe will bring exactly those into life. So how is it that when I’m meditating, it helps to get relief from discomfort and pain by rather focusing my attention to the body parts that is hurting? I don’t necessarily picture myself feeling better or pretend to feel better while I focus my energy on my ailment. My question is, if I can cure my ailment by focusing my attention to it, can I also do the same by paying attention to the unwanted things in my life and release them?

Answer:

It’s important to clarify that silent meditation is primary concerned with developing self-realization and removing the impediments to that experience. It is not about using the law of attraction. When you are meditating you are only instructed to put your attention on physical discomfort in the body if your mind is so distracted by the sensation that it is not easy to continue thinking the mantra. So you are not directing where your attention is going because of something that you want to heal; you are only responding to a condition that arises on its own.

In such a situation, this indicates that your meditation practice has brought up some very deep conditioning to be released. The bodily discomfort is your organism’s way of working to restore balance and health. By putting your attention on the physical aspect of the release process you protect your psychology from getting wrapped up in the drama and emotionality of the old feelings associated with the trauma, but also using your mind to simply be with the sensation supports the release process and ensures that it is thorough and complete.

This is a different process than dealing with unwanted thoughts when you are using the law of attraction to manifest a desired outcome. If you want to focus on curing a specific ailment through the law of attraction, then you are better off cultivating thoughts, feelings and behavior that reflects the state of health you are looking for. There are, of course, many other healing practices that you can use that may incorporate some form of skillfully directing your attention on your illness to heal it, but they don’t necessarily fall into the category of using law of attraction.

Dr. Deepak, a very good post as the way to focus on one particular area at a time because you send many signals in the Universe of other things and it is like dialing in on a radio staion and picking up the other wave length frequencies when you want to just dial in on one..One thing at a time as always…

I think that with LOA and healing, when you visualize how you are to be without the ailment, the universe can provide you with the wisdom, guidance, and understanding that can propel you towards the proper information and resources that can aid you on eliminating that ailment.

I beg to disagree with Deepak. When you pay attention to an area in pain, you are actually paying attention to the message that area is giving you through the pain, not the pain itself. You then "attract" that message and take appropriate actions.

When you pay attention to the pain, you are actually not pushing against it, just watch it, just let it be, so it creates no resistance in your body. And by having no (or less) resistance your vibration raises. And so the pain can go away. If you make peace with where you are, your resistance diminishes. Your tension goes away.

Resistance or Retreat? In Maxwells Theory and the "inter-action", and now Hardy's paradox, attraction has a stalled impact equation to consider. Resistance is a force, squared, whereas, in the nano of all this, I would think even a charged, shy particle would like a kind invite thus created to be a large part-i-cle of the greater solution. But its only a theory, today.

In general, legal systems can be split between civil law and common law systems. The term civil law referring to a legal system should not be confused with "civil law" as a group of legal subjects distinct from criminal or public law. A third type of legal system still accepted by some countries without separation of church and state is religious law, based on scriptures. The specific system that a country is ruled by is often determined by its history, connections with other countries, or its adherence to international standards. The sources that jurisdictions adopt as authoritatively binding are the defining features of any legal system. Yet classification is a matter of form rather than substance, since similar rules often prevail.

Either in the us or them, either in physics and anthropoloy there exists the law of attraction, it is best they all understand fully the "Law of Allowing" to complement the wondorus journey. Anything that conveys a code is both itself "and" the spirit it represents. I remain, VR+ jim googolmath,

Child molestation accusations can turn an individual's life into a nightmare. Such accusations are very easy to make, but they can be extremely difficult to shake. There is a strong tendency for people to assume that when a child molestation accusation is made, it is valid and true, but of course in many cases a person is falsely accused.
