LETTER No.2 ,as It Is! with only underlined by Me! For bringing some facts to your kind NOTICE!

God’s Letter to All
My Dear Children (and believe me, that’s all of you),

I consider myself a pretty patient God. I mean, look at the Grand Canyon. It took millions of years to get it, right. And about evolution? Nothing was slower than designing that whole Darwinian thing to take place, cell by cell, and gene by gene. I’ve been patient through your fashions, civilisations, wars and schemes, and the countless ways you take Me for granted until you get yourselves into big trouble again and again. But I really want to let you know about some of the things that are starting to upset me.
First of all, your religious rivalries are driving Me up the wall. Enough already! Let’s get one thing straight. These are your religions, not Mine. I’m the whole lot; I’m beyond them all. Every one of your religions claims there’s only one of Me (which by the way, is absolutely true). But in the very next breath, each religion claims to be My favourite one. And each claims its holy books were written personally by Me, and that all the other books are man-made. Oh Me. How do I even begin to put a stop to such complicated nonsense?
Okay, listen now. I’m your Father and Mother, and I don’t play favourites among My children. Also, I hate to break it to you, but I don’t write at all, I’ve always been more of a doer anyway. So all of your books, including those holy books, were written by men and women. They were inspired, remarkable people, but they also made mistakes here and there. I made sure of that, so that you would never trust their written words about me more than your own living heart.
What you seem to forget is how mysterious I am. You look at the petty differences in your holy books and say "Well, if this is the truth, then something that is different just could not be true." Not so, My children. Instead of trying to figure out My Paradoxes and Unfathomable Nature, which by the way, you never will, why not open your hearts to the simple common threads in every religion?
You see, one human being to me, is worth more than all the holy books in the world. That’s just the kind of God I am. My Spirit is not an historical thing, it is alive right here, right now, as fresh as your next breath.
Holy books and religious rites are sacred and powerful, but not more so than the least of you. They were only meant to steer you in the right direction, not to keep you arguing with each other, and certainly not to keep you from trusting your own personal connection with Me.
Which brings Me to My next point about your nonsense. You act like I need you and your religions to stick up for Me or win souls; for My sake. Please, don’t do Me any favours. I can stand quite well on my own, thank you. I don’t need you to defend Me,and I don’t need constant credit. I just want you to be good to each other.
Two things I don’t get at all worked up over are money or politics, so stop dragging My name into your dramas. For example, I swear to Me that I never threatened Oral Roberts. I never rode in any of Rajneesh’s Rolls Royces. I never told Pat Robertson to run for president, and I’ve never ever had a conversation with the Pope, Jim and Tammy Bakker, or Jerry Falwell (Of course, come Judgment Day, I certainly intend to……)
And, by the way, I wonder why you keep thinking I’m male or female. I really have no need to belong to one particular gender, reproducing myself that way being rather out of the question. I gave you all that sexual stuff for your enjoyment. It was meant to be one of my most beautiful gifts to you and I’m still amazed how some of you try to involve Me every time you have problems with it. It’s yours now, it’s too late to give it back and I don’t care what you do with it, but you really could have more fun if you didn’t take it so seriously.
The thing is, I’d like you to stop thinking of religion as some sort of loyalty pledge to Me. The true purpose of your religions is so that you can become more aware of me, not the other way around. Believe Me, I know you already. I know what’s in each of your hearts, and I love you with no strings attached. Lighten up and enjoy Me. That’s what religion is best for.
You know what I’m talking about: Love and respect everyone. Be kind. Even when life is scary or confusing, take courage and be of good cheer, for I am always with you. Learn how to be quiet, so you can hear My still, small voice (I don’t like to shout). Leave the world a better place by living your life with dignity and gracefulness, for each one of you is My Own Child. Hold back nothing from life, for the parts of you that can die surely will, and the parts that can’t, won’t. So don’t worry, be happy (I borrowed that last line from Bobby McFerrin, but Who do you think gave it to him in the first place?)
Simple stuff. Why do you keep making it so complicated? It’s like you’re always looking for an excuse to be upset. And I’m very tired of being your main excuse. Do you think I care whether you call me God, Yahweh, Jehovah, Allah, Wakantonka, Brahma, Father, Mother or even the Void of Nirvana? Do you think I care which of My special children you feel closest to, Jesus, Mary, Buddha, Krishna, Mohammed, or any of the others? You can call Me and My Special Ones any name you choose, if only you would go about My business of loving one another as I love you. How can you keep neglecting something so simple?
I’m not telling you to abandon your religions. Enjoy your religions, honour them, learn from them, just as you should enjoy, honour, and learn from your parents. But do you walk around telling everyone that your parents are better than theirs? Your religion, like your parents, may always have the most special place in your heart; I don’t mind that at all. And I don’t want you to combine all the Great Traditions in One Big Mess.
Each religion is unique for a reason. Each has a unique style so that people can find the best path for themselves. But My Special Children, the ones that your religions revolve around, all live in the same place (My heart) and they get along perfectly there, I assure you. I wish your clergy could stop creating a myth of sibling rivalry where there is none.
My blessed children of Earth, the world has grown too small for your pervasive religious bigotries and confusion. The whole planet is connected by air travel, satellite dishes, telephones, fax machines, rock concerts, diseases, and mutual needs and concerns. Get with the program! If you really want to help Me, then commit yourselves to figuring out how to feed your hungry, clothe your naked, protect your abused, and shelter your poor. And just as importantly, make your own everyday life a shining example of kindness and good humour. I’ve given you all the resources you need, if only you abandon your fear of each other and begin living, loving, and laughing together.
I do love each one of you. I’m not really ticked off; I just wanted to grab your attention because I hate to see you suffer. But I gave you free will, so what can I do now other than to try to influence you through reason, persuasion, and a little old-fashioned guilt and manipulation? After all, I am the original Jewish Mother. I just want you to be happy, and I’ll sit in the Dark.
I really am, indeed, I swear, with you always. Always. Trust in Me.
Love,
Your One and Only,
God
HOPE!You will give serious thought to the expacations from us! expressed by Almighty Father-God in above two letters! And act accordingly!
With Compliments!

Arun, thank you for the job you have done. I think one day we, as humanity, will get to understand, that if we would not use our concious mind to overcome our problems, which lead us to the sole desire for mutual extermination, God will impose sanctions on our free will. It happened many times throughout the history of human kind, and those who suffered most were the humans.

On the other hand, given the exponential fall of God's interest toward Universe, from the day of its creation (maximum) to the day of its extinction (no), why should we bother? Can our free will affect the will of Brahma to close eyes? Do processes inside the cycle of creation affect the cycle?

I would appreciate if you could give some clarifications concerning these questions.

    Love

    Dear Rouzanna

Thanks! for appreciating my effort to bring certain facts again on the surface in the cyber world!though this post on INTENT.

I am glad to see the intrest shown by you in those deep questions!so fundamental and important to bring peace in this beautiful world,on our lovely 'Planet Earth'!'Mother Earth'!

'Brahman'/Creator/Cosmic father has not lost inerest in this world!nor lost faith in Man!

'HE'has given Man a free will and power of reason to discriminate between right and wrong! And take right course! Its a different matter that often man drifits away from the right track! But that's the freedom given to man, above animal!or you can say to 'err is human!'

Its for this reason if we see the whole 'History of Human Civilization', man has come out of the 'Cave Dwelling Man',with almost animal like existance and beast like activities to the harmonious 'Agricultural Societies'(of Indus valley and Niel and Mesopotamia civilization) to 'Industrial civilization and modern world of last few centuries, which fought two 'World Wars during last centuryand got lessons to establish United Nations(UN) like world level Organisation! that works in some way to stop nations from fighting wars, encourages Conservation of Environment-wild life and Plants!to the present day 'global civilization'!and a well informed and well meaning and well behaving Community of Nations ofcourse!to some extent! The picture is not so bad!or belak, indeed!as some may think!

As we see the same man who used to eat other men's flash during 'Cave dwelling days' to the people who faught almost 4000 wars! during 5ooo years! We the present day pople of world are who are talking of saving even plants and animal species from impending extinction!and trying to be Eco-friendly!in general!

Believe!me the presen phase of 'terrorism', which is puzzling most of us!is also on decline! As such the record of Man has not been that poor in the eye of Creator God!(I suppose!).There are many more signs of Hope !than to dispair! And with the advent of information Age(Tv.,Computer,Internet,Mobiles etc.) the 'Wisdome Era' or 'Golden Age' is not far,if we the people of world as a global village/society!fulfill our responsiblity as Human species!and behave as human beings(with our individual free will) and not as Man(not the man as animal/beast!/warior).And behave as in ancient books of India(vedas) poet Seers expected us to behave as Global citizens following the philosophy of

Dearest Arun, I join my friend Sharmishtha in that it was a profound explanation, and in her hope that love in god will prevail.

I have a couple of comments to your post, though. For the recent 20 years that I made indian phylosophy my major area of interest, I have been hearing from different sources about Sat Yuga (Age of Enlightenment) downing. However, in our everyday life we see escalation of violence, as a result of violation of basic laws of nature, which in its turn is a result of reduction in the level of both individual and collective conciousness. So, my question is: are there even tiny, but clear indicators of this process of downing, maybe in Shrimad Bhagavatam?

In Christianity, we had clear indicators stated in the New Testament: they were the immediate followers of Christ, who largely contributed to the proliferation of the phylosophical concept of Christ: love, compassion and forgiveness. Although Christianity stopped for a short period of time the degradation of humankind, which started in Ancient Rome, it did not bring up a "Universal Revolution"- establishment of Sat Yuga. How do we know, that this time it is going to happen? Are small groups involved in non-homogeneous spiritual practices able to create such a miracle as Sat Yuga?

I understand I am taking much of your time, but believe me, there is hardly someone, who would agree to discuss such complicated topics in such a thoruogh manner, as you do.

    Thanks in advance and LOVE

Dear Arun, so kind of you to continue this discussion with me. You are completely right. When you dive deep into a foreign culture, trying to make it your own (difficult task to accomplish), you tend to idealize all spiritual concepts and mix them up with related ones. There is where confusion starts.

I largely appreciate the tendency that can be traced in Indian history throughout ages: Indians make their culture their living. This is the pledge of your cultural vitality.

As for my specific question, I will clearly formulate it for myself and then only offer it for your kind clarification.

    Thanks in advance.

    Love

    Dear Rouzanna

I am glad that you along with Sharmistha liked the explanation!

I am am happy to learn that you made Indian Philosophy your major area of interest.

    for last 20 years!

But the question you asked is related to Indian 'Mythology(Puranas ,Sanskrit: ????? pur??a, "of ancient times")!which talk about cyclicity of 4 periods(Ygas),as Satuga!in your question!

Indian Philosophy,Religion-including mythlogies as well! and culture are so diverse and elaborate fields with such subtle inter connections that often people get confused, and lose track! And general Consensus becomes very difficult to arrive at!So people try to avoid any discussion!

The mythological stories(Of Puranas) are not totally fact based, nor historic!Of course there is some hidden purpose and harmony in these stories which are at times semi historic! And as with the mythlogies of all other religions people can seldome arrive at some common consclusion on these idealistic questions because of diverse interpretations and elaborations by authorities of different religions/cultures!

But as far as I am concerned I am always more than willing to expalin and elaborate or discuss on any topic underneath the sun!But you will hav to be specific in asking your question! So please make your question more specific and straight!I will definetly answer!

Till than a light song from a old Indian movie, wishing for new Dawn-"Wo Subah Kabhee To Aayegee!"-:

As you can see -rom Indian Philosophy to religion to mythology to movies Indian culture is full of such idealistic aspirations! This is the source of strenght of Indian culture-The Eternal Hope!for Better Future!

In Philosophy/religion/traditions,Concept of God or Divine! is the personification of this eternal Hope! For Peace and perfection! And the Path shown in Indain traditions is that of allround 'Purushartha'(Effort/endevaour) through-Dharma-Artha-Kama-and Moksha!

    Dear Rouzanna

    Loving Namaste!

I am glad that you could take my reply in right perspective!

Indian religious, philosophical and cultural tradition is based on openess to any new search or inquiry or truth!,with a provison for 'Shastrartha!(Open Discussion!/argument).That's why if you look for any single book/scripture on Indian religion you will not find it.As indain relgion is not based on one book! as other abraminc religions (Christainity and Islam!etc) are!.Indian religious tradition is actually not based on any single book!.It has evloved as a way of life and day today living as you rightly pointed out!Of course there is a tradition to follow the authority of Vedas,if one wishes!if not even than there is not much restrictions!,as with freedom accorded to Buddhism!and Jainism and other Indain religious traditions to flourish in India!along with main Hindu! tradition! And that's the strength and beauty of Indian spirituality!

In India there has always been freedom in long history of evolution and development of religions to dicuss any relgious hypothesis and theory or practice or inovative experimentation to any extent! One can talk and say/discuss any new thing about religious matters or any god,for that matter Rama or Krishana or even lord shiva! from diffrent perspective and no body would be presecuted or banned!nor any 'fatva'(religious senction) will be issued!

Ofcourse one is supposed/expected not to show intentional disrespect in any way to any particular god or godess!Which for a learned Indian are just the symbols to pray and worship of "that" One reality!-Brahman/God/ Ultimate reality!as reflected in saying:

    ??? ?? ??????: ????? ?????

  9. Rouzanna Vardanyan August 20, 2009 at 12:24 am #

    Dearest Arun,

thanks once again for the lengthy explanation that I enjoy reading repeatedly. Yes, I am intersted in this discussion over Indian religion/culture, because we shared civilization for ages and have the same roots. 1700 years of Christianity in Armenia have only diversified the crown of the tree of life, with the roots remaining unchanged.

Therefore, coming to a common denominator concerning religion and culture at least for the nations, which have been sharing history in the past, is one of my biggest preoccupations, and I am open to any debates, proposals and plans.

Humanity stands no other choice than to accept the truth: the more it is absorbed in cultural and religious diversity, the sooner it forgets of its common roots. Perishing of memory leads to psychological and physical distruction – a statement true for both individuals and societies.

I agree that each soul is potentially divine, and the goal of any religion is to manifest this Divinity within by controlling nature, external and internal. I have been practicing all of karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Raj Yoga and Gyan Yoga for total of 20 years. I cannot say I am freed, but the majority of things that you are telling me are available for my understanding. This fact may secure a constructive dialogue among the three of us – Sharmishtha and you, as bearers of the culture/ religion, and me as an interested foreigner. I think more people are welcome if they have the intention to participate.

My knowledge of Rig Veda and, mostly the experience of it, tells me that it physically lies in the foundation of the creation of this Universe and everything constituting it: planets, suns, stars, our Earth, all the nations, religions. We have to admit that Rig Veda is the supreme truth. We do not question the supreme truth undrlying our bones, we know it is calcium. So is Rig Veda.

Since I cannot read Sanscrit (inexcusable omission), I can only guess that the verse you were quoting is either Om tat sat, or Tat vam asya (maybe something elese, that I am excused not to know). It actually validates the idea that all religions are the same thing, because they come from the same source. This is why I value very much the experience of getting to this source, experiencing this source of all-inclusive knowledge, which dispells each and every doubt about diversity in the Universe coming from a unified source, manifested as Rig Veda. As a direct and most effective means to get people to the source I view meditation. Sometimes, when discussion reaches the boundaries of phylosophy or religion I ask my oponents whether they meditate. Most of the times they are caught by surprise. Many of them take it as a personal offence, not understanding why they need to practice foreign religion. To others with more open mind, direct experience of the source of knowledge is an unnecessary component to the discussion/debate. They just speculate on the scattered information on phylosophy/religion they get through the system of their education (often the best available). To me, meditation as a means of reaching the source of knowledge is the common denominator, which secures the successful outcome of the discussion/debate over such an important topic, as unitiy of culture and religion.

Thanks in advance for attributing time to read my thoughts. I am looking forward to discussing more.

    Love

    Rouzanna
