THE LIBRARIES AND OUR PAST LIVES Part two
LEARNING TO EXPERIENCE WITH BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT WORLD HISTORY
For us, who believe in reincarnations due to a very deep conviction don’t ever wish to convince anybody about this. We understand that it is a natural spiritual process which in due times it will be an important part of humanity. What we do wish to do is to participate with our insights and experiences to add approaches just to plant the seed of curiosity in people.
The following approach is just one of the many there are. It has worked wonderfully for me and all my students in the past thirty five years. In case you will never be convinced, anyway you will gain a lot because your knowledge will be expanded and your comprehension of current world events will be grasped harmoniously. And then it will be very beneficial in expanding your knowledge regarding world History. You will feel indeed like an important participant in it.
It is a mental time-travelling game in which we play with dates and centuries. We travel back to the first year of thirteen century which is the year 1,201 A.D to experience the excitement of a new century and then we use 1,209 AD, so our brain can make easy mental associations with our current year, next we will use the year 1,222 AD. To play with the same number repeated three times.
Because we will be enjoying our mental trips to our glorious past as common people, experiencing everyday life then now allow me to give you an insight of our effective program; The first five years will be spent travelling forwards in time, for example the second year will be used in experiencing everything in the year 1,333; the third year in 1,444, the fourth year in 1,555 and our fifth year in 1,666.
Let’s start then with our three dates from the XIII century: 1,201, 1,209 and 1,222. Now let’s choose three different cities from three different continents starting with Europe then Asia and finally The American Continent. Our next step is to try to experience spending twenty four hours in each city starting at sunrise getting up from bed, if any. Are we alone or are we sharing our bed with somebody? Let’s look up at the ceiling of this room and try to guess the materials that are made of. Let’s use our smelling sense to appreciate the fragrances, stenches and smells here. Now our hearing sense, what peculiar noises are we able go catch? Is it hot? Is it cold? We will look down at our body to see how it is dressed or the kind of garments we will use today. Our foot gear. What kind is it? Our next question will be this; who am I? How old am I? Am I a woman or a man? Perhaps I am just a child or maybe a very old person. Let’s now mention our meals starting with our breakfast time at the table. Who are we sharing the table with? What are we having for breakfast? Where do we do our number one and two? How far is work? Do I own a horse or a carriage? Or do we work at home? Who’s our spouse and how many children do we have? Let’s the try to find out the kind of currency we use, next our working utensils. Do we know how to read? Is there a war going on? What about religion?
Now is time to step outside to experience animal, plant, mineral and human life. Let’s widen our eyes to see and remember all seen, heard, smelled and felt by admiring the plants, shrubs and trees. Do we see some butterflies, birds and flying insects? What is the most common flower? What is the most common tree? What kind of ground are we stepping on? What kind of cloths do priests, friars and nuns. The commerce; fruit and vegetables stands, the bakeries, butcher shops etc. Here a question regarding the spoken and written language, Are we able to recognize it? Now regarding our beliefs mentioning our sacred days; our Sundays, or Saturdays and Fridays where are they spent? Let’s try to see these places please; the churches, temples and shrines.
