Love surrounds a child that is born, Love releases the child into life’s magnificent experiences. Love will tell Baby Love’s" story, inspired by my personal experience when 18 years ago this March 2nd, my daughter released her daughter to be raised by Love elsewhere.
When I went into meditation by the pool last summer, in an effort to get in touch with Baby Love’s Angels while writing the book, these two dragonflies came swooping by and I managed to capture these photos using my telephoto on macro setting and being very still.
Initially, the story was to be told by “Grandmother Universe” (a character I do who came into being when I became a grandmother for the first time 18 years ago.) But with the arrival of these Bably Love Angel Dragonflies, there will be a dragonfly and a damsel fly who will narrate. Of course, Grandmother Universe will play an intricate part

Never before had I seen a dragonfly up close, the blue one actually will land on your finger, like in this photo of my 89 year old friend, Evelyn (who just happens to own the beautiful home in which I live)
. . . or on a stick in front of my grandson
Look at the SMILES on these dragonflies and on Liam. Awesome!
Look at the intricacies of the wings. How magnificent a creation, surely they are angels.
Thanks for looking!
Love,
Starshine
Stories of adoption experiences are most welcomed. Please share!

Magic.
Yes, magic prevails! Did I happen to mention that I live in The Magic of Storybookland?
True, honest, that's how it is, right here in The Kingdom of Love!
Always a happy continuance
WoW… Starshine…. I just made a comment saying that the pics intent team puts up on the front page are quite goood. And that's before I saw these pics of yours !!! They beat the intent ones by miles ! absolutely breathtaking !
Photography is a passion of mine, not a profession and because passion is my focus, that's how I think these lovelies can come about.
I'm glad that you are so impressed, Ruch, because then I know that I have matched my passion with the human soul, in the glimmer of a cosmic moment.
The Baby Love Story will be enhanced by the gift of these angels. I'm going for it with the BOOST from my fellow Intentors. Thanks for the support!
Love,

Beautiful and magical, Starshine
Loved it in all ways.
Thanks Adriana, so nice to get a blessing from you.
Starshine
Wonderful that you love Photoshop, more things to share…
In my blogs I love the images to dance with the words.
But the way you told this story is color, life and love mixing.
Love
Adriana
Photos, Beautiful Photos, I love beautiful photos. Thanks so much Adriana for loving the photos, for loving the story, your comments make my heart sing and my creativity fly higher.
Starshine they truely are great photos, the child and the dragon fly is really nice. I am more amazed by the close ups of dragon flies that show how beautiful they are and to see the intricate details of the wings etc. These are aspects of this small insects that escapes the everyday observation of our busy human eyes. To capture them this way is truely an eye opener to what beauty nature could create for us !
Keep up the good work – I like the vibrant colours !! I was going to suggest that you specialise on photographing insects for the above reason – but then again that'd be providing unsolicited advise wouldn't it?
Take Care
I'm really impressed Starshine that you took these gorgeous photos as photography is one of my passions too, what a talent you are
Your posts are always lovely
I've only just begun and I'm so grateful that I have so much support. Thanks so much Ruch and Noreen for your wonderful comments.
Ruch, your 'unsolicited advice' (lol) is well taken, although the way I see it is that these photos (the dragonflies ~ just a few of many) were taken in macro mode, using my telephoto and that was the first time I'd used that mode. So, perhaps it's not so much that I am to repeat photographing 'insects,' but rather repeating the method I used. I'm getting my telephoto out tomorrow and finding some macro subjects.
I've always had an eye for photography, a gift of 'capture' but I've only had a small circle to observe the goods. So nice to expand to all of you blessed souls.
Well my dear sister.. I just commented on your native blog about dragonflies, and then.. wala! Here they are.. LOL.. The first year I came here, I cleaned out the back ditchline where the cattails were the thickest making very sure to feed and keep water on the dragonflies that were to hatch back there. It was the next year after careful tending that I saw my first one's hatched. They were much like the coloured ones you have such a great talent for capturing! I would sit in the back yard, and my husband said I giggled like a kid as swarms of them would dive bomb me and sit on my shoulder. It was our nightly play as I watched the sunset.
One day out in the back garden, I noticed one being quite persistent with me as I was trying to clear the weeds. So I got up and walked over to the ditch were she was excitedly perched on a cattail. As I pushed aside the reeds, I saw the first of her eggs in the water.. She was a mama,, and I guess that made me grandma..
They are amazing creatures,, and their lesson is that things are going to move fast, but call on sister dragonfly, and she will help you keep your eye on the prize and navigate through water and air gracefully.
Loving hugs.. thank you so much for your beautiful pictures..
Marylynn
Ha Ha Marylynn! We are criss-crossing our messages.
I just left you a link to this blog on the Native American pix.
Great minds . . . thinking alike again!
When you put your finger up, those dragonflies land on them.
I can't wait for them to show up again this year. Great blessings.
Love,
Junnie
WHAT GREAT PHOTOS AND YOUR HAVE GREAT SPIRIT ABOUT YOU!!! SAY BLESSED AND THANK YOU FOR JUST BEING…
TOWANDA!
Queenie Smiley, love those pictures and I love dragon flies, They are so neat to fly and land…
Everytime I go in the back yard I have 2 bumblebees that made a hole in my deck and watch them come and go. I am convinced that they will land on the palm of my hand before they go away for fall.
I ask myself "Why?"
Why? to the dragonfly
Why not a butterfly?
Why not a deer fly?
It is you that makes it so complete
Four wings to fly, that is really neat.
Peace Queenie Smiley Mother Spirit(+)
