Make Valentine’s Day About You, Not Two!

It’s the time of year where candy hearts and sappy cards help people express themselves to the ones they love. But with all the brouhaha about Valentines Day being about the other people in your life, how can you show some love to the most important person you know? By doing something special for you, of course. Whether it be a tarot reading, a tasty treat or an orgasm, it’s time to show yourself some big love. Below are just a few of suggestions.

Valentine’s Day

Get a tarot reading. If you’re interested in knowing where you’re going in life, but not sure where to start, let the cards set you on a path. Even if you’ve never trusted in tarot, Golda of Golden Tarot, is the perfect person to help you help yourself. Whether it’s about love, loss or life in general, a tarot reading can help you move forward with your life, or help you focus on what’s important in the here and now.

Mix yourself a drink, but not just any drink – something a bit strange and a whole lot yummy. Triple Eight Vodka makes interestingly colored, and deliciously flavored, vodkas that don’t look like any vodka you’ve ever seen before.

Experience a different kind of orgasm. Nars Safest Multiple Orgasm Set features a little black book of ways to say ‘no’ (because once you wear their product you’ll always be irresistible) plus a cream stick (Multiple in Orgasm) will make you look peachy and shimmery all year round.

Or experience a real, old-fashioned orgasm, one that you do, for you. If you haven’t tried a vibrator, man or woman, pick up an inexpensive waterdancer and test the boundaries of your body. Once you get to know yourself, it’ll be easier to share yourself with others.

Write yourself a love letter. Because, if we can’t love ourselves (see above) how can we love anybody else? Take some time to write down a list of things you love about you. Keep it in a drawer so that every time you feel down, you can use it as a pick me up. And every morning for the next week, think of three things that you, yourself, are grateful for. It’s a nice way to remember that the love you have to give yourself is the same love you can share with others.

So celebrate yourself this Valentines Day and really feel the love.
