Manifesting Our Desired Experiences

All of us have aspirations, goals and dreams. I like to refer to them as desired experiences. What we cherish more than any physical thing or goal is the experience of the thing that we want. When you win the race and get the nice big trophy, you put the trophy on your mantle. You really don’t care so much about the trophy itself as you do reliving the experience of winning the race. Whenever you glance at that trophy you get right back to those wonderful feelings and emotions of winning. That’s what it is all about.

When you want the dream house or the dream car, you really want the experience of the dream house and the dream car. Getting yourself into the feeling of what it would be like to be experiencing what it is you want will go a long way towards manifesting those things. When we are visualizing and feeling the emotions of what it is that we want, we put out the exact same vibrations and energy as if we were actually experiencing the thing itself. It is exactly the same! Science has proven this to be true. The brain patterns are exactly the same in both situations.

The more we get into the positive feelings and emotions of what we want, the more the Universe is lining up the people, places, things and circumstances to make those desired experiences a reality for us. It is worth spending some time everyday practicing what it is like to already have what we want. Make this your priority everyday and then back it up with the action part. This is how you set the table for your success – mind-set first, action second. This is the magic dust for creating what you want.

Another important piece of this puzzle is detachment. It is about the art of allowing. You get clear about what you want, visualize and feel what it is like to have it, and then relax and trust that the Universe will deliver. Do not try to figure out the How. That will only limit you. Let the Universe figure out how and when your desired experience will become your reality. The more detached you are, the more faith you have, the quicker the manifestation. Isn’t cool to be such a powerful creator?

About PMcCleary

I spent many years in the corporate world as a top producing sales executive. As successful as I was, I knew there was more to life then working for a paycheck. I spent my free time exploring the mysteries of our world. I desired to know how we attract our experiences in our lives. I have had many wonderful learning experiences (some people would equate this to failures) and successes in my life. I know that all of my experiences have added so much richness to my life. It was not until I got involved in a business of Personal Development that I learned how to apply some powerful and Universal principles in my life. I finally learned how to have consistent success and, more importantly, how to feel good more often than not. When we feel good, good things happen to us. Life is a beautiful journey for all us. I look forward to sharing some of my journey with you. It is my desire that you will be inspired in some way to Create Your Greatest Life Now!

The wonderful thing about manifesting for me is that I don't have to figure out how to do it! I just detach and watch for the little tell-tale signs that something is on the way, with patience and detachment of course! All things do come to those who wait….and to those that don't think about it to hard!

Sounds simple…but the detachment is the tough one. When you want something so bad you kind of focus on the lack of it rather than already having it. How do you practice feeling that you have what you want?

I understand where you are coming from Sati. To want something really bad can also be an indication that you have some fear around not being able to get what you want. This is where it is important to understand that attracting what we want is a co-creation with the Universe. This is where the trust and faith part comes into play. The weight of the world does not have to be on our shoulders. When we learn to trust the Universe, we alleviate the fear and we get into a space of feeling good and anticipating with faith and excitement that we will be manifesting our desires. Practice with the same feelings you would have when you already know something is coming your way. If a friend told you they were going to treat you out to dinner and a Broadway show, think of the positive feelings of excitement and anticipation you would have about it. You know will have this experience and you are excited! Look at past experiences where something similar has happened. Now use those same feelings and emotions around attracting the things that you really want.
