Meditation With Mallika Chopra: An Online Course

INTRODUCTION

When we raise ourselves through meditation to what unites us with the spirit, we quicken something within us that is eternal and unlimited by birth and death. Once we have experienced this eternal part in us, we can no longer doubt its existence. Meditation is thus the way to knowing and beholding the eternal, indestructible, essential centre of our being. -Rudolf Steiner

Welcome the hub page Meditation With Mallika Chopra, an online course dedicated to helping you learn how to meditate and practice a more mindful life.

Meditation is a simple technique that has physical, mental and spiritual benefits.  Regular practice of meditation can help you find more personal fulfillment, inner peace and happiness in every situation.

The online course is divided into eight lessons that will introduce you to basic meditation techniques, simple mindfulness exercises and additional resources on how you can learn more about living the mindful life.

Each lesson also contains 1-3 videos from Mallika Chopra.

At the end of each course is a list of suggested exercises and journaling topics to further aid you in your journey. We recommend keeping a journal or notebook throughout the duration of the course to track your progress and chronicle your inner journey as a way to further aid your personal growth as you go through the different lessons.

Though there is no set time on how slowly or how quickly you go through each lesson, we recommend that you space out three days between each lesson so you can fully commit to the core meditation and mindfulness practice contained in each lesson before moving onto the next one.

LESSON 1: WHAT IS MEDITATION?: This lesson will explore the basics of meditation, common misleading stereotypes about meditation, and the physical, mental and spiritual benefits of practicing meditation on a daily basis.

LESSON 2: THE BASICS OF MEDITATION: This lesson will introduce a basic meditation technique for meditation beginners so you can ease yourself into a regular meditation practice.

LESSON 3: A BREATHING MEDITATION: This lesson will introduce a basic breathing meditation practice, and how you can deepen your meditation practice by paying attention to your breath.

LESSON 4: I AM MEDITATION: This lesson will teach you the I AM meditation for getting in touch with your infinite and unlimited potential.

LESSON 5: WHAT IS MINDFULNESS? Beyond a specific meditation practice, this lesson explores how mindfulness can become a state of mind that you embrace every present moment.

LESSON 6: MINDFULNESS IN SPEECH AND THOUGHT: This lesson introduces specific exercises you can do to practice mindfulness in speech and thought.

LESSON 7: THE POWER OF INTENT: This lesson explores how stating an intention can anchor your thoughts, and create a life of happiness and purpose.
