YES, The Thunder of Silence AND the space between~
Thank you Deepak
OMG, I fall asleep EVERY time I meditate…lol. I have tried to meditate right when I wake up in the am to alleviate this, but it doesn't matter if I have slept for 12 hours, and have just awakened, I still fall right to sleep, and I can be sitting up even. HELP!! I went to a Buddhist monestary that was hard core in their meditation practices and told us we were not allowed to scratch and itch (of course my body was crawling with bugs at that comment…lol), and what did I do? I fell over forward because I FELL ASLEEP right in the middle of the Zendo…lol.
Any suggestions?!!
Krissy
I see Krissy's comment and it reverberates a fear I have when 'trying' to meditate. I have no "formal training." I don't even know if I'm doing anything correctly, but I try to meditate as Dr. Chopra suggests in "The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success" at least 30 minutes a day. I am working up to that.
I would love to know how to meditate correctly. Or at least be pointed in the right direction. Can anyone suggest to me something online or a video in which these instructions are given?
I'm a sort of meditating when reading your books in my bed.
Half awake, half asleep and dreaming in between.
After an hour I put the book away and go to sleep.
I didn't medidate until now, but I am curious if this will feel the same like 'meditating' before going to bed…..
