Meet the World’s Oldest Marathon Runner: 101-Year-Old Fauja Singh

If you’ve ever watched or participated in a marathon, you know that these types of races bring together a wide variety of people of all shapes, sizes, ages, and backgrounds. It’s a huge feat to complete such a long, arduous journey; and as this inspiring marathon-runner shows, age doesn’t have to be an obstacle.

Fauja Singh is 101 years young and broke the world record to become the oldest marathon runner last year. Earlier this year, he was given the honor of running the Olympic torch through the streets of London.
