I have the munchies today, luckily I stopped myself before going too overboard. I really have to intend on watching what I eat today.. I recently lost 12 pounds and do not want to gain it back! I know my hunger is often emotional hunger, as if I’m missing something in my life. I intend to focus today on what I have rather than what I don’t have.
It is not easy. My thoughts automatically focus on what I don’t have. It takes work to change this pattern of thinking but it is important that I adjust my attitude not only to make myself a happier person but to also be a better friend, wife, and daughter.

About Jennissen
I know intellectually what the power of intention can do for people. I know what a gift from God it is. I just don't seem to quite know how to apply it yet. I've made a lot of relationship mistakes....with friends and even an ex husband. I intend to learn and grow from my mistakes.Subscribe

I can definitely relate and would highly suggest the following book "Women Food and God: An Unexpected Path to Almost Everything" ~ Geneen Roth. It is truly an eye opener into the motivations of why we eat for emotions.
