Yesterday, the Jim Henson Company severed ties with anti-gay fast-food chain Chick-Fil-A, citing diversity and inclusiveness concerns.
The company was working with Chick-fil-A to feature Jim Henson’s Creature Shop toys in kids’ meals. But when Chick-fil-A’s president, Dan McCarthy, announced his support of Christian organizations that oppose gay marriage this month, Jim Henson said: “Forget about it!”
On its Facebook page, The Jim Henson Company calls itself a “strong supporter of gay marriage.” The company will be donating its final check from Chick-fil-A to the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation.

UPDATE: Chick-Fil-A has issued a “voluntary recall” of all its Jim Henson Company toys, citing a possible safety issue. What a coincidence!
Children, children, can't we all just get along. This is a country of free speech where all are entitled to their own opinion. Quite frankly, puppets don't speak for me, I speak for myself and will do so with my dollars.
