Despite the weight of the following books, I have lugged them around to many cities and even countries. I love each of these books and have read them more than once. I refer to them during times of doubt and fear and after reading, I always arrive to the other side of the situation inspired and with renewed energy and hope.

And… if this can be the "6 Book List" I want to add Deepak Chopra’s book "Buddha" – I read this in my backyard last summer when I spent nearly 3 weeks quiet and pondering my future. It is fantastic! A book I savoured; it inspired me to continue on my path with faith.
