A Nectarine at Four fifteen

The sweetest fruit of the last two years was tasted following laughter class

was it extraordinary fruit or sweetened by the chemistry released through laughing

Though forced at first to forge a path to the funny bone

it melted all the holding on so joy could spill through every pore

i’m grateful to that funny man who knows his science well

and weaves it into art and play and teaches how to tickle

our pituitaries so they can send some happy vibes pulsing through

our anatomy and clearing fear of stepping into Light.

The sweetest fruit was a nectarine at 4:15

drizzled in laughter and sprinkled with joy and topped with the sweetness

of the Self.

    Dear Linda

Liked your technical post on chemistry and physiology of laughter!Use of 'tricle of pituitary',is intresting!reminded me of the nectar that tricles during stages of meditation!Controversial mystic,Osho used to say-"nothing kills Ego like laughter".

Here is an excerpt from his book -'Satyam,shivam,Sundaram':

"Laughter is far more important than any Prayer, becasue prayer will not relax you.On the contrary,it may make you more tense. In laughter you suddenly forget all the conditioning, all training, all seriousness.Suddenly you are out of it,just for a moment.

Next time you laugh be alert, about how relaxed you are! "Amen!Jai Ho!

    With love and Best wishes!

Thank you for the comments Arun. You mentioned one of the things i loved about Osho, his great sense of humor. i love to laugh, especially a deep belly laugh, seems to rock all the chakras. And i could use another tool to overcome the ego.

Always great to hear from you.

    In Peace, Love and Laughter
