Predicting and Knowing Your Future

Hey, Margaret Ruth, I have a question. Why is it so easy for you to just tell right out of the blue what’s going to happen to people? How do you do it? K.C.

Good question, but for me answer is complicated. There are about 4 things I need to say to address it. First, I do not always find it easy and I am not always tuned in.  Sometimes it is hard, and sometimes I am either a little off or even completely so! Next, I often use my cards for the future because they help me with timing, people, and other more specific details.  They do make it easier for me to be accurate.

Third, I have a Cheat, one that I use on the radio when we are doing short reads for callers.  My cheat is that I can be quick and somewhat accurate if I use a strong empathic ability to read a person’s psyche right now. Here’s why this works.  Yours and my future tend (if nothing else changes) to be outgrowths of the seeds we are planting now.  Makes sense, no? So, if I read your inner landscape right now, I have a rather strong idea of what type of seeds you are planting or ,in other words, what future you are creating. That is why we mystics are always saying goofy things like: "Change Yourself, Change Your Future!"

The great news is though that the future is like the weather, it is always forming and reforming. Like the weather, it is somewhat predictable. But, then, there are always those people who shake things up and completely change the direction in which they are headed.  When that happens, these people make us psychics who specialize in the future look really, really bad.

And that is the fourth part of my answer: you individuals who allow yourself perfect freedom to create your future however you please make me look bad.

But if I could pick, I would rather you all do that instead of being very easy to predict.  I suggest to everyone that they commit to being one of those people whose futures are unreadable.

Rather than believe psychic abilities are a special 'gift' bestowed upon a select few, I encourage you to change your view and realize abilities of the 6th sense are something we all have access to. They are just lying dormant waiting for someone to plant the seed so that your abilities will one day bloom too. Believing anything else only serves your ego and keeps you separate from the truth of BEing.

That truth: You're just another part of me.

I imagine there are those who do think this, but it is hard to image that people who read Intent.com would. So, who are you addressing? It seemed a bit odd as most of the people I know understand the universality of personal intuition, wisdom and psychic ability. So, it was unclear if the article bothered you or if you wanted to address a larger audience on the topic.

So, basically what you are saying is that it is easy for you to tell someone their future by the decisions that they have made in the past? This makes a little sense I guess.
