Embrace the Life Force


Over the past 19 days you have learned how to increase your life force by making changes to your diet. You are eating foods that support your body and mind. To further support your wellbeing, I encourage you to add the following carefully selected supplements to your diet: a broad-spectrum digestive enzyme, co­enzyme Q10, probiotics, Cellfood®, and greens

I’m not a fan of popping handfuls of vitamins and minerals, but you’ll notice that the enzymes, probiotics, and greens are basically food supplements, meaning that they are concentrated nutrients derived from foods. It’s not necessary to take all of the supplements, but you might want to once you read on.

By supplementing your diet with a broad-spectrum digestive enzyme, you’ll free up some of your body’s digestive energy for key body functions other than the manufacturing of enzymes. This is especially important since cooking destroys the enzymes in food.

 Choose an enzyme supplement that contains a wide range of enzymes, including: 

  • Amylase
  • Cellulase
  • Invertase
  • Lactase (if you eat dairy products)
  • Lipase
  • Malt Diastase
  • Protease

Consuming a wide range of enzymes ensures that your body will break down starches, sugars, fats, proteins and fiber into the building blocks of cells and tissues. Take the enzymes with meals or up to 20 minutes before meals.

Needed by every cell in your body, Coen­zyme Q10 plays a critical role in ensuring that you have the energy your body needs to heal, maintain a strong immune system, and fight the cellular damage linked with aging. Because Coenzyme Q10 levels decline with age, it is beneficial to replenish your body’s supplies. Like other coenzymes, CoQ10 is an assistant to the thou­sands of enzymes in your body. Every cell in your body requires CoQ10 to produce adequate energy to perform its functions.  As a result, it boosts overall energy and stam­ina. It also helps boost heart health by strengthening your cardiovascular system; it acts as a potent antioxidant against free radicals linked to cellular damage; it reduces the effects of aging; it promotes healthy blood pressure, and it boosts your immune system. Ideally, look for one in which the capsules are enteric coated and contain L. acidophilus, L. bifidus, B. subtilus, L. casei, L. bulgaris, L. plantarum, L. rhamnosus, L. salivarius, L. longum, L. lactis, L. F-19, and B. bifidum.  Take two capsules on an empty stomach.
