Reconnecting to Bliss

Question:

I go to your website daily to, among other things, read the daily inspiration. Today’s inspiration is about reconnecting with your bliss. I understand the meaning of the word but unable to relate it to my own life. I love my family, children and grandchildren and live my life with a grateful heart and thank God for all my blessings. Is that what my bliss is?

Answer:

Reconnecting to your bliss is consciousness reverberating in its own self-recognition. It is called bliss because it the primal thrill of the cosmos as it knows itself. But it is not the same as what we typically call happiness or pleasure. It is a presence of existence that is beyond emotion or aspiration.  It expresses itself in our daily life as love, compassion, creativity, gratitude and joy.  So the love you feel for your family and the thankfulness you feel are indicators that this inner bliss is manifesting in your life. What you can choose to do however is to strengthen that connection and allow that bliss to transform every aspect of your life until everyone is regarded with the same love and compassion as you feel toward your family.

Love,

Deepak

Bliss is the ultimate state of oneness. When you understand our connection to the brahman! To understand the meaning of the word Bliss. We have to understand the words connected with it. It comes form the word Sat-chit-anand (Satchidananda). Its all about travelling from truth to consciousness to bliss. Sat-chit-anand. Sat means truth, chit means consciousness, anand means bliss, which is the ultimate state of oneself.
