Saying Goodbye to Farrah and Michael

The world was saddened by the death of Farrah Fawcett yesterday and shocked by the death of Michael Jackson on the same day. Both celebrities were loved by millions of people around the world. Farrah’s recent documentary about her three-year battle with cancer won critical acclaim, and Michael’s recent tour announcement was met with widespread excitement and sold-out venues. They will both be missed greatly, and the tragic loss of both of them on the same day will be difficult for many to deal with.

For all those who are grieving following these two tragedies on the same day, the ACIM Workbook offers a lesson of such importance that it is repeated three times. Lesson #94, #110, and #162 is, “I am as God created me.”

Before we were born, we were as the Divine created us. Throughout our lives, no matter what mistakes we make, we remain as the Divine created us. After we leave this world, we will continue to be as the Divine created us. The Workbook goes on to say that each of us is spirit:

"You are the spirit lovingly endowed with all your Father’s Love and peace and joy. You are the spirit which completes Himself, and shares His function as Creator. He is with you always, as you are with Him."

We sadly say goodbye to Farrah and Michael as we knew them here on earth, but they have always been so much more than what we could see or hear. They are spirit, as they were created. They are at home, as they were created. They are united with their Creator, as they were created. And so are we. We are as the Divine created us.

    dearest deb,

your post worked as a deep relief. thanks. for reminding "They are spirit, as they were created. They are at home, as they were created. They are united with their Creator, as they were created. " it no doubt eased the sadness a lot.

Wish you love, peace and happiness.

    Dear Deb,

It is fitting that we acknowledge these two people who had affected our lives. I especially liked what you stated "….but they have always been so much more than what we could see or hear". That is the key here. Our human perceptions are flawed; we don't always see or acknowledge the divine in each of us–that we equally possess as undying spirit.

Thank you for your reminder today that we all are undying divinity held gently in our Creator's care.

    Peace and love, Deb,

    Gayle

Dearest Trisha and Gayle, thank you for your comments — deeply appreciated as always! I don't know about you, but I've been seeing nothing but grief and conflict every time I turned on the T.V. this week. I'm so relieved that we all have the weekend to re-charge and re-energize before starting another week on Monday.

Sending you *positive energy* at the end of a difficult week!

    Peace and love,

    Dr. Deb

Dr.D….It is nice that in our lives God shows no judgement on anyone and to continue with the flow of Spirit to another newer Consciousness is a WIN-WIN situation for everyone…It is sometimes tragic to hear anyone for that matter to not be with us no longer but the Spirit takes the flesh and acts it out accordingly and that is why we must enjoy every moment we have our physical being…the energy in the Spirit is so enormous that the body only can hold so much as to say we only have a limited capacity of thinking but to cross the line with Higher Consciousness and that thinking..it is boundless where our visions and imagination with Spirit can take us…lovely post and enjoy your weekend

Positive energy emitting from this being back to you all(+++++)> str8 ahead

    Dear Deb,

Here's some–rejuvenating energy– for you too. I agree with you, I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed by the negative press on TV and in the newspaper that is bombarding my poor consciousness. Sometimes I just have to disconnect for awhile and– b.r.e.a.t.h.e….

See you back on Monday feeling more positive and uplifted.

    Love and peace,

    Gayle
