My Schoolhouse Gummies are on their way to the White House. A year ago I was sent some samples of some green gummie bear vitamins for kids. Being a mother of three growing boys I am looking for anything and everything that can boost the health of my family. With busy and hectic schedules there is not always time to get the freshest veggies, prepare them and have them on the table meal after meal. This is in no way a replacement for fresh real fruits and veggies, but lets be realistic we don’t always eat well 100% of the time.
My kids loved them. So I got the ball rolling and created my own Kathy Kaehler’s Schoolhouse Gummies. A year later, which was two weeks ago, my first shipment was delivered. One week later my INTENT was born. I was watching CNN and then read the Health section of the LA Times and our First Lady was all over the news talking about the White House kitchen and how warm and homey it was due to the chefs. She also expressed her need for the White House chefs to come up with new ways to get the First Daughters to eat more greens. That was it! I had to get my Gummies to Washington. I made my own You Tube video about them and now I am telling all my magazine friends to get the Gummies out to the world and hopefully into the White House kitchen.
