When the World Trade Towers collapsed on September 11th, everyone in New York City was coping with grief, loss, trauma, injury, shock and disbelief, … or knew someone who was.
For the rest of the country, for those of us watching from afar, there was another role offered: that of witness to tragedy, and participant in sending prayers of hope or compassion for those who suffered.
Iran now offers the world a similar spiritual opportunity. We can either watch, transfixed by the news, by Twitter street journalism, by cellphone video broadcasts, as violent events unfold for Iranians … or, we can turn inward.
Turning inward, each of us can breathe into our heart, strengthening it. "I love my heart!" We can then use this internal wireless commications system to broadcast LOVE across the world to all Iranians. "May love surround you. May love guide you. May love live life, through you. It can be sent to the people on the street. To their leaders (elected or not).
Love those who perpetrate violence on women? Love the abuser?
As a target of love, everyone is vulnerable to an *awarkened* moment. In that moment, will they make a decision, or take an action that saves a life, or affirms a right to dissent? Bombarded by love, will they make the choice to compromise?
Will we be successful? The daily news will report our spiritual progress toward peace in Iran.
Are you willing to be a part of this great shift of consciousness in Iran? In North Korea? Please let me and others know, here. And if you have a mantra or prayer that you would like to share, please post it here as well.
Blessings!

(To multiply the following blessing, read aloud.)
Let us daily increase in: wisdom, love, gratitude, reverence, healing, peace, joy, happiness, laughter and prosperity.

Tonight we spontaneously rallied for a peace rally for Iran at the university where I am in the Midwest (Iowa) with students of 20 nations & sang songs of peace, love and happiness for Iran & all the countries of the world. Many candles were lit & formed a circle on the asphalt. People sang along & were clapping their hands together, wished peace & happiness for EVERYONE in Iran, incl. Ayatollah, Mullahs & all citizens – man, women and children alike.
We were given a green ribbon around our wrists as a symbol of love for the Nationals of Iran. May Iran be (become) a shining star in the family of nations! May freedom prevail as if you really love people you want them to live in freedom. May The Ayatollahs and Mullahs enjoy this deep, deep love in their heart! May there be revered for their love and wisdom and powerful peace emanating from them by their people.
