According to the Standard Process website, "We are exposed to external toxins everyday, including pollutants, pesticides, and chemicals. Internally our bodies produce waste byproducts as a result of normal metabolic function. Although your body is designed to rid itself of these toxins naturally, it can become overburdened. Purification offers your body additional support to expel natural toxins and minimize your weight, which is important to maintaining your health and vitality."
I decided to start the 21-Day Purification Program from Standard Process today, 1/19/09. I heard about the program from my chiropractic and good friend, Dr. Christina Petersen. After attending a talk about the program and doing some further research, it seemed that anyone would really benefit from this program – just because of the civilization we live in.
Though I just began to decrease my intake of raw foods from 80% for the last 60 days to 60%, I look forward to a continued increase of energy, clearer skin and better mental clarity following the purification program.
So, what do I eat on this program? Unlimited organic fruits and vegetables (eating about double the amount of veggies as fruits), fresh juices, protein shakes, and 1 cup of lentils, brown rice or wild rice per day. No caffeine, no added sugar, no alcohol, no tobacco, no nuts/seeds, no grains, no processed or refined foods. There are also 8-10 supplements that are taken 3 times per day.
I’m happy to share my progress and transformation, and if anyone has any questions about the program, feel free to ask!

Kelly,
I am set to start this program on Sunday. Can you tell me how you are doing with it and tell me what to expect? I have read all the information but am eager to ear a 'real' person's account of their experience.
Kelly,
I'm looking into starting a detox/purification and was hoping you could share your insights on the Standard Process Purification. I have a friend that sells Isagenix, and she told me about a friend of hers that did the Standard Process. It looks like a good program, but before I jump into anything I'd like to know what other people's experience has been.
How did you come to choose Standard Process? Did you finish the 21 days? How did you like the program, was it hard to follow?
I appreciate any advice and input you're able to provide.
Thanks!
