Stay Fit: Get Back on the Bike

My guess is that everyone out there is freaking out that the holidays are right around the corner.  Aren’t we missing a week?  I recognize that time right now is a valid excuse for skipping your workouts, but the outcome can derail all your hard earned workouts and the stress level can go through the roof.  So here is what I am doing to detour that disaster.  Get up Get up Get up.

Yes that’s right — get up early.  If I have to be up at 7am then I am up at 6am to get on my bike.  If I have to be up at 6, then I get up at 5am.  I have my clothes next to my bed as well as my shoes.  I have my ipod, headphones and water next to my bike and I trudge my way there. Once I am on and going I feel GREAT.  Honest, I am not just saying that.  So my intent is to be on my bike most mornings of the week.  I know this will get me through the holidays in a happy mood.  Hope you can too.
