A thought for the Holidays… Give!

Albert Einstein put it well when he said that, "The value of a man resides in what he gives and not in what he is capable of receiving."
The Holiday Season has arrived, and is a time of giving for many. Today make it a priority to think of ways that you can give to others this season. Also keep in mind that you don’t have to give material things. Kahlil Gibran once said, "You give but little when you give of your possessions. It is when you give of yourself that you truly give." Most people during this season just want to feel loved. So pay a visit, or write a letter to anyone you feel inspired to, and let them know that you care. Just being thought of can make a world of difference in the life of someone else. The size or price of the gift doesn’t matter, what matters is the amount of love with which you give it. If giving is your main focus this Holiday Season, then it will no doubt be one that is filled with joy!

About likefreshair

I enjoy discovering light. Sharing it with others just adds to the bliss! I have a blog dedicated to daily inspiration @ www.LikeFreshAir.blogspot.com ...my small attempt to make a difference. I love to discuss with others about their beliefs and learn from them. One of my favorite quotes: "The joy of Being, which is the only true happiness, cannot come to you through any form, possession, achievement, person, or event--through anything that happens. That joy cannot come to you--ever. It emanates from the formless dimension within you, from consciousness itself and thus is one with who you are" ~ Eckhart Tolle. I wish you with all the love, joy and abundance possible!
