Timelessness
Time, linear, a fracture in awareness
Conception of a promise, of all to be
Deception still greater churning within me now
Endless, intangible, sometimes idle but there
I press through it, deject it,
At times, hedonistically cherish it
Who I am, time reveals malevolently
What I shall be, time dictates
A moment, another and another
Slaves, time has cemented in consciousness
Emotions understand so well, what drudgery
Followers of accomplishments time being friendly
Rebels of obstacles, time reeling victory
Setbacks of bad luck, time plots onward
Always forward moving, past glances passé
Time too, promises discontentment
Differences lie in messaging our beliefs,
Are you flexible?
Time will remain intact past our grand facades
Harshness, struggle and never ending battles amusing
Cruising without ego, a passage of exploration
Defecating obsessions with time, a human condition
Dare to drop self-pity, for earthly honor
Challenged are your conceptions when mind retreats
Skip a beat between repetitious days
Renounce yourself, indulgent affairs
All set by time for a lose or win
Highlighting laughter a step to take
Oh, responsibilities will remain
Illusions, delusions already plaguing your thoughts
Time has won human consciousness
Heights of infinity secured
If only for this moment,
Secretly indulge in the sublime
Timelessness
