I walked into the Austrian Airlines lounge at the Gothenburg, Sweden airport and was not only struck by the easy Swedish design (land of Ikea) but by this row of bright orange Buddhas sitting on the wall. The image remains burned in my mind. Why? It was so unexpected amidst a mostly business context. It stood out. It was unforgettable.

The competition is more fierce than ever before. Businesses are fighting for industry share. Customers are demanding more for less. A simple yet smart leadership strategy is to commit to being different. And focus on being unforgettable.
