Universal Laws?

I am reading a book and it’s talking about universal laws. I question "Laws" such as Karma, Law of opposites, Law of attraction and so on. Who created them?

The law says this and the law says that…but in truth there are no laws…..there are only beliefs in laws…and from these beliefs we create our experience.

Yes I am free to believe…but am I not limiting myself believing that there are "laws" that must be obeyed or that could work to my advantage? These "laws" are subject not only to my belief in them…..or they could never become my experience…..but are also limted to the possibilities my mind is open to.

Only in the light of my consciousness do they exist. These "laws" have no power….unless I give mine away.

We are so much more…soo much more :  )

    HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

"My intent is to see everything as perfect, … already." So My Friend, are not the ""Laws" such as Karma, Law of opposites, Law of attraction and so on." perfect? I am not expecting a response to this question, just a thinking point perhaps worthy to ponder? THANK-YOU FOR HELPING TO INFORM MY JOURNEY!!! I have no answers and have found the questions and the pursuit of PEACE, UNCONDTIONAL LOVE AND TRUTH to be the most important things on our journey.

    BLESSINGS, LOVE and PEACE!!!

    Dear Vivian,

What you say resonates so much with me.

Where do these laws come from? I always thought that the most enlightened of us discovered the laws while meditating.

Do you think it is that we imagine the laws or create them and they only work if one truly believes in them?

And if we let go completely, unattached to any belief in any law, just being right now, open and flowing easily, that is the way to really experience the 'soo much more'? Or is that just another belief?

:) thank you for your thoughts. would love to hear more

    Love,

    Sharon

I believe in Universal laws—-I see this as the laws of nature and for the Universe to be orderly this is the way it's been set up. However, being human I'm also subject to these laws therefore I'm without free will [here and now, before arriving and adopting this body, I believe I had a say] To me I stress, to me rejecting the laws would create an unbalance to the point I'd be out of touch with reality. Again I want to stress that's how I feel about it I don't want to project my thoughts on anyone else as the way to think.

Yes Tim….in a bigger picture the belief in universal laws is perfect and in divine order but so is the experience of suffering : )

Perfect does not mean good or bad…..it is beyond duality.

Sharon…One day a friend came to me with a problem…I asked God why this problem was brought to my attention…since I believe everything I am conscious about is my creation….I meet every problem within myself.

The answer I received was to tell my friend to set her alarm clock at 6:00 a.m. and to go outside of her door in her P.J.'s….make 2 circles to the left and 1 to the right….jump up and down and clap her hands and her problem would disappear.

First I thought it was the most ridiculous thing I ever heard…but then I understood that I believed something needed to be done in order for a problem to disappear.

All beliefs are manmade and arrise in consciousness. Consciousness is the screen where all things appear…those seen and those unseen. That is also where "Universal laws" appear. They will "appear" until they no longer serve a purpose.

When we realize that we ourselves are the creators of all that appears to be….will we stop creating illusions.

    " These "laws" have no power….unless i give mine away " . .

alright, then the question becomes, do any of us unenlightened beings have the power to * take back * right here, right now what Ignorance has " taken away " ( i.e. Awareness of Unity where there are no pluralities to bind ) & therefore operate Beyond the cosmic realities of life in Duality ?

If we care to agree that Duality is a * belief *, are we also saying that we can, ipso facto, on a non-theoretical level suspend this * belief * at will this very moment & thereby void the reality of the law of gravity, for example., or deny , for example,. the * reality * ( for us ) of electrical force.so that we can place our finger into a live electrical socket & not be affected ??

and how about the laws operative in the demise of the physical body ? how do we right here,. right now circumvent * belief * to make that inoperative – & if we can, can you name someone unenlightened who has successfully avoided that entirely ?

i'm not sure we need to know " who created " operative cosmic forces to know that or where they may apply . .

i think many could agree that there is such a thing as Awareness established Beyond Duality which can operate outside Duality's limitations . . but what about most of us that inhabit the planet – can we dismiss cosmic law with wishful thinking & thereby escape karmic effects ?

    what do you think ?

THANK-YOU, I could not agree more!!! Everything is always perfect as it is, without judgement as good or bad but best considered through the lense as working or not working.

    Hi Vivian,

Thank you for your response to my comment :)

I feel that I agree with you. It seems to me at this moment that consciousness creates illusions as a way of playing with itself. Without the illusions, would there be only the formless I am, or can we have form without illusion?

I hope so, because I really enjoy form. And form without illusions would possibly be pure bliss (?) :) )

I am enjoying this discussion. Hope to hear more…

    Love,

    Sharon

Yes Sharon…I think you are right on with what you are feeling. The need to do anything comes from the belief in a separation from God. This belief creates all beliefs…and all beliefs are simply an illusion. We can not be separated from God….God is our very being. To say/think that there are rules or laws outside of our self is to not know our true self.

We are in this very moment everything we ever wanted be…..but unless it is our conscious awareness…. will it not be our experience….and until then we will continue to seek and experience ourselves outside of Self.

To your question: Can we have form without illusion? No….but it's not form that causes suffering…..it is being one with form/not knowing the true self that creates the experience of suffering.
