This Week’s Call for Content: Think, Speak, Act With More LOVE

In celebration of the upcoming Valentine’s Day weekend, this week’s call for content is: think, speak, act with more love. How can we increase more love in our daily life starting today? And though the month of February may be focused on romantic love, we want to hear about love in all its manifestations: self-love, family love, pet love, community love, food love, spiritual love–you name it!

We of course want to hear the cheesy Valentine’s Day-themed advice that will inspire all the romantic couples in the community. Do you have the homecooked Valentine’s Day recipe that will seriously steal anyone’s heart? In light of the recession, what are some really cheap ways to celebrate a super-romantic day without breaking the wallet? What are some Valentine’s Day gifts that are good for your body, your soul and for the planet?

Of course, loving yourself should come first before loving others. How can we show ourselves more self-love and self-acceptance before we learn to open our hearts wider to other people?

Maybe living with more love means living every day with more love for activities that give you passion and joy: love for good home-cooked meals, love for reading great books and listening to your favorite CDs, love for expanding your mind and heart with hobbies and life passions instead of obligations and things you think you should be doing.

We show love when we volunteer our time for a worthy cause. We show love when we meditate and pray for the earthquake victims in Haiti.

We show love when we patiently clean up after the mess the dog left on the carpet.

This week, how can we think, speak and act with more love?

As usual, we would love to hear your feedback: share your thoughts in the comments below.

Join Intent’s mission this week to inspire others with ideas, activities and tips that help us think, speak and live with love. We will be featuring the best weekly content at the end of the week. If you simply want to share a quick idea or tip in the comments below, we want to hear that as well!

i'm ok with loving yourself first before loving others. now how can you love yourself? i think u must appreciate who u are, appreciate ur physical appearance. then wear what u like, what make u feel cool, sexy, happy with urself. do things u like, ur hobbies, particularly sport to make u feel lighter and to evacuate stress.

showing love to others for me is listening to them whn they are happy or sad, being there when ur friends need u, and not judging others when they act badly. cauz if u judge, people will not feel free to talk to u. i think that's how u can spread love.

A wonderful way to ignite love is to go to your heart…..out of your "head"….and begin there. Making decisions and acting from your heart generally guarantees that all will be well. Our intellect and emotions often vie for control, but our heart softens our actions as well as our thoughts. It can be difficult to let go of the "stuff" that keeps us from acting with love, but when we surrender to love's flow……life becomes more enjoyable and happiness becomes our reality.

Rakhi, you are always embodying love by constantly highlighting the voiceless of this world. :)
