The Lost Master’s Word
With the death of Hiram Abif, the Master’s word was lost and thereafter a substitute word has to be used. This is most commonly given as ‘Mah-Hah-Bone’, although there are variants such as Mahabon, Moabon and Machbenach (the latter two appearing in French rituals). This word is whispered in the candidate’s ear when he is being raised (from the dead) by means of the Lion’s Grip.
Albert Pike provides us with the Hebrew original of this word, MVABAVN and tells us that this means ‘Moab On’ or ‘emanation of virile energy’. He doesn’t tell us that the Hebrew word is valued at 756 and so equated with the Greek Εγειραι και περιπατει - ‘Rise up and walk’ (Acts 3,6):
Then Peter said, Silver and Gold have I none: but such as I have give I to thee: in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
And he leaping stood up, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.
756 is also the value of the village Εμμαους, which was where Jesus first appeared to his disciples after his resurrection (Luke 24, 13). Furthermore, the Greek spelling of Hiram - Χειραμ - has this value, and the word Απαβαρατος meaning ‘imperishable’. One could add that a vesica 756 in width has a circumference of 3168 (the perimeter of the archetypal temple and value of Κυριος Ιησους Χριστος - Lord Jesus Christ) and that 756 is the side length of the Great Pyramid as measured in feet.
It may be significant that the Greek words for ‘Jesus Christ of Nazareth’ employed in the raising described above are Ιησου Χριστου το Ναζωραιου and have a value equal to that of Ο λεων ο ων εκ της φυλης Ιουδα η ριζα Δαβιδ - ‘The lion of the tribe of Judah and root of David’ (value 4178, from Rev. 5, 5). The connection comes from the fact that the new Master is raised by the ‘Lion’s Grip’. The latter expression has solar connotations because its value is 365 – the number of days in the solar year. This would appear to tie in with the fact that the AVN in MAVB-AVN is the Hebrew name of Heliopolis, the city of the Sun. The lion is a solar animal and emblematic of the sun’s virile power.
The English version ‘Mah Hah Bone’ (or Mahaboneh) has a value of 153. This is a very significant number, particularly as it provides the number of fishes caught by the disciples in their post-resurrection fishing trip on the sea of Galilee (John 21,11). The number 153, the 17th triangular number, has for hundreds of years been interpreted to signify ‘the resurrection to eternal life’ (1). The number 17 features here too because it is the gematria value of the central syllable, ‘Hah’.
It is also a fact that 153 is the value of Η Μαγδαληνη - The Magdalene. Mary Magdalene is very closely associated with the resurrection of Jesus, as she was the first to discover the empty tomb and encounter his risen form. If the resurrection is viewed in terms of the Greek mysteries, she would have been acting in the role of initiatrix – like Isis raising her dead husband Osiris.
The word ‘Mach-ben-ach’ means, according to Pike, ‘the place where the murdered one was hidden’ and derives from the Hebrew MChBANK. Valued at 121, this is also equated with the Magdalene, because it is the value of ‘Maria’ (English/Latin). At the same time 121 provides the name of another Egyptian city of the SunSVNH - Syene: this was used as a solar observatory to measure the Tropic of Cancer (the sun’s northernmost vertical trajectory). Maybe this was where the body of the murdered solar hero (Osiris) was concealed?
The Original Master’s Word
It is possible that AVN was the original Master’s Word. It has the significant value of 707: this represents half of the square root of two. The ancient importance of this number is testified to by our finding Ο Θεος Ερμης - The God Hermes, and Παρθενος Μαριαμ - The Virgin Mary, equally valued.
Was the sacred AVN intended as Ο Λογος Αληθειας - ‘The word of truth’ (James 1, 18)? Albert Pike hints as much when he writes, "In my opinion, the Substitute orcovering Word was of three syllables, in order to hint to the Initiate that the True Word was also triliteral; and Muabon, reversed gives NobAUM . . . AVN (the name of the City called by the Greeks Heliopolis) means ‘robustness, strength, vigour, the virile energy’ ".
Another possibility is that AMVN is the Word: this is the divine name that combines the masculine AVN with the maternal AM - to create a god of balanced sexual polarity (2). Amun/Ammon was the primary deity of ancient Egypt.
AMVN also happens to be the Hebrew word for an architect or builder (i.e. a Mason).
With the definite article added, we also see that H’AMVN takes a gematria value of 752, which is equal to the primary divine couple of ancient Greece, Ηρα και Ζευς- Hera and Zeus. In Hebrew 753 will provide us with another well-balanced couple, ABRM ShRI - Abram and Sarai (alternatively, ABRHM ShRH - Abraham and Sarah). Additionally, 753 gives us a combination of AVRIM V’ThMIM - Aurim and Thumim – Light and Truth.
When the final letter is counted low AMVN takes a value of 97: this equates it with the final syllable in Mah-hah-Bone: this seems to be another hint that we are on the right track.
In Masonic ritual the Lost Master’s Word is frequently explained to refer to ‘The marrow of the bone’. This is interpreted to mean life-force or virile vigour – which is especially apt, as its value of 1520 equates it with both the fertile procreative energy of ‘The Vernal Equinox’ and the fertilising instrument Ο Ιθυς Φαλλος .
It is also worth pointing out that the Hebrew word for ‘marrow’ MCh is an anagram of ChM - Ham, the son of Noah. Ham represents the sun in Masonic ritual at the midheaven station. Notice too that ‘Ham’ is ‘Mah’ in reverse. The names of father and son are written NCh and ChM and have a combined value of 58 + 608 = 666. This is the supreme solar number. Their lower value of 58 + 48 = 106 is equal to the lower value of MVABAVN.

There is no happiness for a Bodhsattva until the last soul has been relieved of his suffering.
One will always suffer until one sees the problem with form and individuality because these things naturally lead to dissolution and decay -we cannot change those laws.. so that leaves us no option but to leave the world of form and sensory pleasures to find something more subtle and not bound by cause and effect.

For me personally anyone who has the intent to help humanity is a Bodhisattva in the making, but ,without the understanding of what causes the suffering, one is trying to knock down brick walls with a feather. Pie in sky emotions are good for inspiration but common sense , logic , blood sweat and tears are also needed.Every action is driven by the need to serve and be of assistance in which ever way one can offer it.. Maybe it is for a few people only or maybe it is for a nation or the whole world.. there are no labels that say this one is a bodhisattva and that one isn't
When the world is full of aspirant Bodhisattvas working together for the common cause one can see a vastly different world starting to manifest ?

By "Realizing" who you are…Does soul suffer? does soul get sick? Does soul die? Is God sick?
When we live from the soul of Soul, who do we see in front of us? a sick and dieing person? or do we really see the reflection of our essential self in God appearing?…….
To give an example…Christ Jesus, could heal a man instantly because he beheld the perfect man appearing from within his own Divine consciousness. He saw and knew only the perfect soul of man standing before him as His Christ Mind reflection. He knew the appearances of sickness and suffering to be a fraudulent thought playing itself out and duping mankind to believe it as real……
When the individual received his own reflection of truth in Christ Jesus, there was a perfect healing, revealing the Perfect man who's life is being expressed and lived from the soul of Soul in eternal Divine Spirit…
Every man who awakens to his life as soul in God, his duty then, is to know the perfect divine truth that always stands before him….This is true healing being revealed to you….and we can not really heal in any other way.

@Ed.. oh yes.. It doesn't matter how many are enlightened.. if there is just one that isn't this world will exist just as it is.
@ Meep but we are not concerned with those who are already ' enlightened' such as yourself
but with those who are not.. How would you show this divine soul to someone who lay in their own excretement and urine in the most horrific of circumstances. How will you show the child with big belly from malnutrition that he is one with god .. he is too far removed from your view.. That would be at the bottom of his or her wish list ….their needs are immediate and acute. What would be your first steps to show soul to the people who suffer too much to worry about soul . Their childhood lays the foundation for their children and the generations that follow like a never ending cycle of despair.
One can only teach them right action right thinking and the noble truths of living – what happens due to cause and effect – but this is easier to teach on the scientific and practical level than on the personal emotional level because they are so emotionally shattered already..
One has to have logic good ethics and much skill in pointing out the misconceptions of mankind.
One shouldn't breed just because one can – loving the child before it is conceived is a good start – then you might think again before conceiving something that will ultimately suffer in this world like a rotten apple at the bottom of the pile due to oversupply. and lack of demand.
Every child should be as a rare commodity – cherished and loved and a gift to humanity ,but too many lessen the status to the point where they become unwanted by either their own family or the world at large. This is the kind of world that many mothers heedlessly and thoughtlessly deliver their seed.
For every mother ( or parent ) that loves and cares for the child there are probably twice as many that don't. or cannot.. this is the tragedy ..
The vision HAS to have a logical physical parallel in the mundane world for it to take effect.. if you cannot link it to this world then it will have no effect – the vision has to be tethered to common sense and practicalities.
@ meep Buddhists deny soul – there is mental continuum – energies ( causes ) that are still apt to materialize on the physical plane.. being spiritual is often a huge ego trip – one of the biggest in fact.. did you reincarnate here to show how spiritual your soul is or to get your hands dirty in the filth of life like the rest of us and help clean up a rather large mess ?

the debate is ongoing through the different traditions.
the important thing is know whether this physical world can overcome the opposites and dualities of existence. OR whether in in order to do so, it has to take on a more subtle form ( I will call this soul ) or etheric body/ energy body which is not in this physical realm as we know it nor bound by the causes and conditions of the physical world. This means that we cannot change this physical world but elevate the mind to a more subtle form of consciousness. when such mind or soul is ready to leave behind the gross world of materiality and sensory experiences. If the physical body has an etheric counterpart then so too would the Earth – the two being nested one within the other and not ' elsewhere ' ?
The in-formation is not beyond trans-formation. We are not trans-fixed. We are 'nested' in one whole dynamic, moving far too subtley for debate. Swim then with the 'dolphins.'

and yes I too am very familiar with the etheric body/light/subtle body- and better then knowing about it intellectually, is experiencing it…..I did Kriya yoga for many years taught by Yogananda. He is a true liberated- light giver, who can lead true dedicated seekers to the gate of infinity consciousness-
In the ultimate Truth Kay, as you know, The absolute being of all is formless, beyond the physical, astral/etheric and causal worlds of experiences-

I come back to the old question. bliss felt in meditation is the release of a chemical due to the altered state of the mind – this includes light.. This can be mimicked my certain concoctions of drugs.. I have not experimented with them so I rely on information found by those who do.
I am not sure that anything experienced in this deeply medadtive state is indicative of anything surviving after the death of the brain. I hope that this state does indeed transcend death of the physical and we do know that it has certain paranormal / siddhi powers that go with that almost zero energy of mind. But this again does not say that anything transcends death of the brain. I have had experiences with light bodies in a full waking walking ( awake ) state and with astral travel and I still use the acid test on this ' spiritual gold ' in my own experiences and that of others although mostly with my own ideas and thoughts.
So far , I still reach the same conclusion and that everything dissolves, which includes the light body .. nothing has an inherent nature and everything is empty of form.. there is only the void.
all else is what you put there including the light so that you can project your thoughts onto the fabric of space time. Truly many religions and philosophies state that you / we are the god we seek..but that perception of the God that I AM is in the void and not in the light …?

i have experienced in a near death accident that the consciousness expanded a lot and was outside of the body and is much larger. – it was ready to vacate .. whoaa that was something else .
It is not bliss .. it is consciousness / awareness. lucid
It happened again during a fainting spell when I was younger – the body fell the consciousness remained standing.
At this stage I put all sensations such as sensations of peace bliss floating wonder and awe all within the brain domain..not that they don't serve their purpose – just that I think they are physical events and not really anything to do with enlightenment or realization of the nature of mind – probably more of an obstacle than anything else

It holds that all 'phenomena' (Sanskrit: dharmas) are intimately connected (and mutually arising). Two images are used to convey this idea. The first is known as Indra's net. The net is set with jewels which have the extraordinary property that they reflect all of the other jewels. The second image is that of the 'world text'. This image portrays the world as consisting of an enormous text which is as large as the Universe itself. The 'words' of the text are composed of the phenomena that make up the world. However, every atom of the world contains the whole text within it. It is the work of a Buddha to let out the text so that beings can be liberated from suffering. The upaya[citation needed] doctrine of interpenetration influenced the Japanese monk K?kai, who founded the Shingon school of Buddhism. The upaya doctrine of interpenetration is iconographically represented by Yab-yum.[citation needed] Interpenetration and Essence-Function are mutually informing in the East Asian Buddhist traditions, especially the Korean Buddhist tradition.
